Out of curiosity, does it cost anything to register a club in the lower leagues and if so, how much? Just wondering if it's something they'll do regardless of the final outcome so they can play out both eventualities alongside eachother?

A psychologist might venture that an old thread like this has as much relevance today as it did 2 years ago. Not because of the specific subject matter but because it highlights how judgemental human nature is at any moment in time. If humans are reminded how easy it is to jump to the wrong conclusions in the past they might be tempted to offer a more pragmatic viewpoint in the present and future.
