Sorry - I phrased my question poorly - I was talking in general rather than about this match. In other words, why did they build a roof that is designed to halt play for 30 minutes. Wasn't there a better type of roof available that closes quicker? (that said, I've just been told it's not the speed that the roof closes its the time it takes for the air inside the arena to adjust to the new conditions.) All seems like a big faff to me. And, given there was a good chance that rhe game was going to run into dusk, wouldn't it have made more sense to close the roof before the match started...?

It's only our problem if the Premier League tell us that a red kit and a white kit is unacceptable.

Re: the 'clash' with Stoke's and Sunderland's striped home kit....just a thought....isn't it their problem rather than ours that their home kit clashes with both of our kits? We've chosen two colours that are pretty much polar opposites of each other....red and white. It shouldn't be our problem if an opponent chooses to have a kit that clashes with both. The only way it should be our problem is if the Premier League has a rule that says you can't have a home strip and away strip that are the same as another team using both those colours in their home strip.

Here's hoping the people behind Saints Player are paying attention....

If you get one in advance, let me know how you get on. It would seem there are two versions of the vignette....one that has to be manually verified at any toll point you drive through or one that is auto verified by video camera p.s. I don't think that website is an 'official' retailer of vignettes etc but no reason to believe it isn't bonefide I guess.
