2. Has anyone asked Deppo what he thinks? He used to be good at this kinda stuff...
3. A 'pundit' on TalkSport radio (oh, and a West Ham fan)
4. Damn you and your cryptic clues.... ;-))

6. Yeah, but it's more fun reacting in the knowledge that we know that's what he wants us to do because it makes him think we're genuinely reacting rather than keeping up a pretence. If you get my drift. We're just following the script....
7. ^ This
8. I went with a West Ham supporting mate and his first reaction to me was: "it looked like he threw a punch - definite sending off". We couldn't see Sharp's reaction from where we were sitting so this view was based purely on the assault, not on the reaction (which is the same criteria the laws of the game are based on). If that wasn't a sending off then neither was Lambert's last month.
9. Indeed. The likes of Abrahams banging on about Sharp contributing to the referee's decision are surely highlighting a positive aspect of Sharp "making the most" of the assault. If Sharp helped the referee make the right decision (which he did) then that's a good thing, surely? Now, had Sharp had reacted in the same way had he not been assaulted then, yes, I'd be the first person calling him a cheat. But highlighting an actual assualt to the referee is fair play IMO.
10. The one and only tactical change I would make is Puncheon for Guly. When he came on last night Puncheon added another dimension to our midfield. When he got the ball his instinct was to cut into a central position and run at their midfield. This created more space out wide for the likes of Lallana, Fox and Richardson as Puncheon drew in their midfielders with his threat to carve though the middle. He made us less predictable. I'm also tempted to say that Hammond should replace Cork but the least changes the better (for now) I think.
11. Yep, a few passes went astray but that's going to happen every now and then when we play the way Adkins wants us to play (i.e. patiently out from the back regardless of how much the opposition press our defence and midfield). I was watching him closely last night and most of our build up play had Morgan at the source.
12. So, why isn't Abrahams banging on about the 'unprofessional' dive to win the penalty I wonder.... (asked Trousers rhetorically)
13. Ian Abrahams still banging on.... Ian Abrahams @Moose_talkSPORT The pics I have seen show Matt Taylor did push Sharp from the neck but didnt hit Sharp or cause any head injury. Now if Soton fans want to argue this some more they can but I maintain Sharp's actions last night were awful & helped get Taylor sent off
14. http://news.stv.tv/scotland/west-central/297644-warning-that-taxpayer-will-lose-out-if-rangers-do-not-pay-bill/ Warning that taxpayer will lose out if Rangers do not pay bill Campaigning group says Rangers administration should ensure taxpayers do not lose out. Hmmm....perhaps someone should remind the Tax Payers Alliance how much tax payers lost out on when Pompey last went into administration....."administration should ensure taxpayers do not lose out" my arse!
15. Nah, never a sending off....ha ha....since when was strangulation a sending off offence....?
16. He seems to be backing down slightly....saying along the lines of "even if he did catch him in the face Sharp still contributed to the sending off by making a meal of it"
17. Adkins was about to bring Connolly on (I assume for Sharp) but just beforehand Fraser pulled up injured (looked like a hamstring tweak). Adkins didn't see Fraser down injured at first (the game had gone up the other end) but just as Connolly was about to come on Fraser had hobbled along the touchline back to the bench. As soon as Adkins saw Fraser was injured he signalled to Connolly to hold fire for a few seconds. He then made a snap decision to move Cork to right back and bring on Connolly for Fraser instead of (I assume) Sharp. Adkins had to make a snap decision and was a good call in the heat of the moment IMO.
18. If only Pompey had heeded such insightful advise....
19. FFS Appleton.....try recalling the academy players that were stood down last week? Call me old fashioned.....
20. I notice 'Portsmouth Football Club Limited' (OldCo) appeared on yesterday's list of dissolved companies, as published in the London Gazette: ** FIRST GAZETTE NOTICES * COMPANIES ACT 2006 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, PURSUANT TO SECTION 1000(3) OF THE COMPANIES ACT 2006, THAT AT THE END OF THREE MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, THE NAMES OF THE COMPANIES LISTED BELOW WILL, UNLESS CAUSE IS SHOWN TO THE CONTRARY, BE STRUCK OFF THE REGISTER AND THE COMPANIES WILL BE DISSOLVED. PORTSMOUTH FOOTBALL CLUB LIMITED 06567232 http://www.london-gazette.co.uk/issues/823465/supplements/1474 Also an entry on the Companies House website: http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/d58fb6e72d9147c65987ae32608f8377/wcprodorder?ft=1

GAZ2(A) 14/02/2012 FINAL GAZETTE: DISSOLVED VIA VOLUNTARY STRIKE-OFF

One assumes this is just run of the mill stuff as opposed to having any bearing whatsoever on the servicing of the 'OldCo' CVA?
