  1. It crossed my mind....albeit briefly
  2. Director of football....?
  3. Only if one agrees with a certain point of view
  4. Ditch the keeper as a sub? Afterall, we only deploy a keeper off the bench 1% of all games

Fair enought. So, shall we assume that Adkins has the player motivation side of things covered?
  6. Hmmmm.....
  7. I thought we were discussing heads of state rather than PMs?

In public or behind the scenes?
  9. Ok, having finally worked out who is in our squad and who isn't, I think we'll start with the following line-up: 1. Davis 2. Richardson 3. Fonte 4. Hooiveld 5. Fox 6. Puncheon 7. Cork 8. Morgan 9. Lallana 10. Sharp 11. Lambert Pretty much picks itself I would venture....?
  10. Shaw and Stephens......right or left backs? (Sorry, had a few beers at lunchtime and unsure of my left and right)
  11. I like you :-)
  12. I happen to think Redknapp would be an excellent England manager. Despite all the banter on here I would welcome his appointment. Indeed, I think we would stand a better chance of success at Euro2012 with Harry at the helm that we would with Capello. The best England manager in recent times was Venables (IMHO). I put Redknapp in the same category of manager. A (slightly) tainted past but someone who could galvanise the England team at this juncture.
  13. @CdeBOfficial: Delighted for Harry Redknapp, he's a gent!! That's the last ****ing Chris de Burgh album I buy....

I'm already quite good at that TBH....
  15. Careful you don't call the money going into the Monaco account "wages" though. Simply tell your boss to stop paying you a salary but instead get him to loan you personal money for investment purposes. And then only pay tax on the returns you get from that "investment". Easy.
  16. Most of the "excitement" on here is for comical effect. Well, that's been my game plan anyway (often failing miserably in the process!) FWIW, I also think Pompey will "get away with it" this time around too. But I still continue to post as if they're going out of existence tomorrow.
  17. Head....no. Heart.....yes.
  18. I think you could count on the fingers of one hand those who thought Redknapp would be sent down (when push came to shove)
  19. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-16925280 It can also now be reported that Mr Mandaric and Peter Storrie, Portsmouth's former chief executive, were cleared of tax evasion charges at a separate trial last October. They were both accused of evading tax over player Eyal Berkovics's termination fee. Mr Storrie was also accused of dodging tax on a signing-on fee to midfielder Amdy Faye when he moved from Auxerre to Portsmouth. Mr Storrie, who is now allowed to speak about his trial, told BBC News: "We said from day one that it [the case] was farcical. "I am delighted we've been proved completely innocent and I can get my reputation back."
  20. Unsurprisingly
  21. Not as mad as people who don't read the whole thread first... ;-)
