  1. Go on.... :-)
  2. ^This
  3. Like it :-)
  4. I think I may have to vomit
  5. Indeed....I'm sure The Sun would be VERY interested in publishing a story about that. Seriously.
  6. Indeed. The London Gazette shows the issue date as 3rd January
  7. Erm....and the previous £32m is airbrushed from history....?
  8. Hmmmm....interesting....so why is it taking PFC2010 longer to go into administration than North One Sport I wonder....? Especially when PFC2010 have more debt and cash flow issues than North One (presumably?) Edit: so, the administrator for North One was appointed on 10th January. Which means that from that date onwards.....drum roll......CSI and PFC were "one single economic entity"....?
  9. Because that's what people expect to happen. It's human nature....it's like whenever there's, say, a transport disaster, people will spend days/weeks/months talking about how to prevent another rare event happening than highlight how well it works most of the time. In other words, human beings love nothing more than a good old moan at stuff!
  10. Yeah, agree in all seriousness....was just venting one's spleen at people walking free for the wrong reasons.
  11. Yeah...sorry....epic fail on my part..... That's twice I've been wrong this decade now. Sheesh
  12. Lee to wear shirt No.42 (apologies if already posted)
  13. FFS....that's what annoys me about 'justice' in this country....people more often than not "get away with it" due to technicalities or procedure errors rather than the evidence itself being tainted. Yes, I know that "human rights" take precident over the validity of the evidence but it still wrankles. I predict 'Arry will be found "not guilty"....not becasue he's necessarily innocent but because of a technicallity. Waste of tax payer's money. Hmmpff (for those of us that pay all our taxes of course....) Edit: Surely a jury are clever enough to work out whether the evidence is still reliable if they are informed as to the procedural errors made in collecting it? As long as the caveats are known then let the jury decide. FFS
  14. Any idea if that's because of a legality (i.e. the administrator of a subsidiary has to be the same as the parent company) or is it more a matter of that's what tends to happen 99% of the time due to convenience/continuity/etc? Don't forget we're not dealing with a "normal" business here....!
  15. BBC Solent Sport @solentsport New Japanese media posse for #saintsfc matches - extra match day pies need ordering, or maybe a new menu? Adam worried pic.twitter.com/vt9v1MF4
  16. Alas (for Redknapp), claiming "ignorance" is not a valid defence in a court of law. One assumes the judge will direct the jury accordingly....
  17. BBC Solent Sport @solentsport #Pompey boss Michael Appleton tells us he's had no other conversations with managers about his players since Ipswich last wk re Ward/Pearce
  18. I hope this Billy Sharp smokescreen doesn't scupper the impending 'phase 3' of the Hooper bid....
  19. So, to recap.....we're in a better position (holistically) than Norwich were this time last season?
  20. James Pearce @Pearcesport Jury's been hearing from Alan Hills at HSBC private banking in UK. He was Redknapp's banking relationship manager Hills told the Court that Redknapp didn't tell him about the Monaco account until 2008 - nearly 6 years after it was opened Hills said he would have expected to have been told much earlier about Monaco account Hills said at one stage he'd requested details of Redknapp's assets and liabilities, and Redknapp hadn't mentioned Rosie47 at the time Hills said his surprise at not knowing about Rosie47 was even greater because he worked for HSBC. Rosie47 was held in HSBC Monaco When Redknapp told Hills in 2008 about Monaco account Redknapp didn't give him any paperwork but told him there was a code word - Rosie47 Hills said he was intrigued by origin of code word and asked Redknapp for reason. Redknapp told him Rosie was his dog's name Hills was asked by Redknapp to get the account in Monaco closed. Hills named the move to do that "Project Rosie" Short break now and then jury will begin to hear recordings of Redknapp's interviews with the police We are going to have an early finish today as judge has other business, so Court will sit until 1330 with no lunch break and then finish During cross examination of Hills, Redknapp's barrister revealed R made "disastrous investments" including £250,000 loss in Oxford United
  21. North One TV sold North One Sports to CSI (around this time last year IIRC), so no, CSI are not part of North One Television / All3Media
  22. James Pearce @Pearcesport Here's your first update of the day from Redknapp/Mandaric trial. Jamie Redknapp back from last night's match in Liverpool to be here again Court's been watching video link from Monaco. David Cusdin evidence. He worked at HSBC bank there where Redknapp's Rosie47 account was held David Cusdin told the Court that Redknapp had sole responsibility for Rosie47 account. Redknapp was sole signatory In order to open an account at the bank in Monaco Cusdin said "a client had to be well introduced" by a current client Redknapp's introduction to HSBC in Monaco was made by Milan Mandaric Redknapp has been watching video link from the dock, alongside Mandaric. Redknapp wearing glasses and studying bank documents carefully Jury has been shown copies of details of Rosie47 account. Court told in 2003 Redknapp faxed David Cusdin instruction to transfer $100,000 That $100,000 was from Rosie47 to First Star International in Florida. R's fax ended with "Many thanks for your cooperation, Harry Redknapp" Edit: oops, beaten to it by Pedg
