Well, it had nothing to do with that for the first 6 months of the season...

I saw what you did there...

Mary Corbett felt "threatened" and "physically intimidated" by Lowe

Alien concept on TSW alert.... Perhaps, for balance, we could use this thread to question all the 'smoking guns' from the last two years then? -

Fair point, although I think an alternative valid observation would be that if the majority of people on here were clambering for further clarification then the original thread, where it was originally raised & discussed, would still be 'hot'. The fact that it's naturally faded away would tend to suggest that most people were happy to let it lie? -

I wasn't making a judgement one way or t'other, just asking. Bit of a misdemeanor on here I know... I still stand by the logic that a given team can be made to perform badly by the opposition or can perform badly regardless of the performance of the opposition. Anyway, forget I asked the question in the interests of message board harmony.

Can one assume that you'll be following up the other 438 threads and posts on here over the last 2 years that also qualify under this criteria? -

I was "simply" referring to the post-match comments from the Preston manager who said that his team effectively weren't trying in the first half, i.e. they weren't playing with anywhere near the 'form' that had taken them to 4th place. There is a difference between a team playing poorly because the opposition makes them poor and a side playing poorly because they are having an off-day. So, my 'simple' observational query was...did we stifle Preston or did they stifle themselves?

Is tomorrow's "pivotal" SLH board meeting still taking place?

No idea if this has already been asked on this thread or elsewhere, as not had chance to catch up with post-match comments, yet, but how much influence did Preston's reported poor performance have on the result? Obviously I don't want to detract from a good result (honest!) but would we still have beaten an in-form Preston?

But on the bright side, we'll have Tommac, HelpmeRhonda and LifeLongSaint back with us (if the club was to enter administration any time soon) IMHO of course

The 1st half team that started against Ujpest would tend to back up this theory....
