  1. My semi-educated guess was Nycomed when that was originally published. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_pharmaceutical_companies They are a Swiss pharmaceutical company owned by a couple of private equity investment companies, namely Nordic Capital and CFSB Alternative Capital, head office Zurich..... Who knows....
  2. Hmmmm.....There's another egg reference. There's something in this, of that I'm sure
  3. Apart from the identity of our mystery money man, it would seem....
  4. Would/could/should the FL put that knowledge into the public domain though?
  5. I will be on my knees too....but no praying involved
  6. They are setting up a TV / broadcasting company
  7. I can see that being accepted practice in 'normal' business circles but this is the Football League we are talking about here. Doesn't the Football League have it's own rules about transparency of the source of financial input into football clubs?
  8. Didn't they technically become free agents during that 24 hour period last month where their wages weren't paid?
  9. My prediction on Mole's reaction to this post is as follows: "Hello Marc"
  10. Any idea which Footballing 'names', if anyone, the Swiss have on board? Or are they simply a group of moneymen who will worry about the small matter of engaging footballing expertise if they were to come up on the rails in the final furlong? Reading between the lines, they would appear to be the wealthiest of the 3 runners but perhaps the ones with least preparation and/or thought about the practical footballing side? Am I warm?
  11. Years, to be completely accurate....
  12. Can't be Matthews. He's into turkeys...and they don't lay eggs
  13. I still wonder whether 'we' could/should put the Football Club subsidiary company into administration as a means-to-an-end to get over this catch-22 scenario? What would be the harm in doing so?
  14. If it's as 'dramatic' as that why are we not seeing more daily coverage in the national press?
  15. "Further contact has been made with the League in the last half hour" Sorry, but that sounds too 'casual' for my liking. As per my questions earlier about how much 'time-of-day' the Football League are giving to this, I rather suspect Pinnacle have not been in a locked room all day with the Football League, much like the RMT and London Underground would be in an 11th hour dispute situation, rather they are having to 'pester' the Football League to divert some of their time scheduled on other matters to deal with the Saints issue(s). All supposition on my part but that's the impression I get.
  16. Is he counting staff pay in that total?
  17. Who's Spencer?
  18. Do you think he'll explain his coded message about the players wanting eggs for breakfast?
  19. Ah...good spot....I do believe that's the sound of Professor Freud slipping over
  20. Why do I just know that the most important news to ever affect this club will come out the minute I head home for work this evening....
  21. Here's hoping that's not a rhetorical question...
  22. Cheers Farmer....any time in the next 30 minutes would be handy - thanks
  23. If people didn't keep pointing out people posting unnecessary comments then we wouldn't have to keep on reading them
