  1. "Ha...and still some people on The Saintsweb Forum believe I had nothing to do with the first team whilst Poortvliet was here", chuckled Mark Wotte under his breath.
  2. Perhaps he was dreaming about you dreaming, and had advised you (in his dream) not to eat so much cheese the next time you're in his dreams? Gorganzola?
  3. Unless I'm wildly mistaken, wasn't that a Midge Ure song?
  4. Who's to blame for the demise of Little and Large? The fans who stopped going to see their once superb end of pier entertainment fests or the erstwhile prime time entertainers themselves for drifting into lazy mediocre early Saturday evening post Jim'll Fix It lame output mode? I hope you're all happy with yourselves now. Shame on you. They had so much more to give.
  5. Indeed. Simpler than Simple the simple snail from Simpleshire. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supply_and_demand
  6. Sorry.....'Twas a random choice born out of life long despair at the futility of some debates on here. Warped mind? Yes, quite probably.
  7. Some would argue (not me obviously, for I am an open minded kinda chap) that Lowe being present at the club put off certain potential investors in the past. Or indeed visa versa if you believe some trains of thought on here.... Now that would be a (really deep) root cause....
  8. I suspect Dibden isn't interested in root causes. This thread is more geared at analysing knock-on effects, I believe.

  12. Superb idea. Simon - have suggested a local band via PM. cheers
  13. I've managed to grab a still shot off the stadium CCTV....quick, get the pomagne on ice...
  14. Maybe the administrator issued an ultimatum to the Football Club along the lines of..."the bid process is taking longer than the amount of time the club has left for survival due to the ongoing uncertainty regarding relegation. So, somewhat perversely, the club will only get investment in time to save it if we're relegated before the end of the season. We must therefore lose all our remaining games to expedite the process and thus save the club." Or, maybe not....
  15. Maybe that's why the players have seemingly given up then...? i.e. the sooner we get relegated the quicker the administrator can shift the club. I knew there'd be a perfectly rational explanation for the abjectly poor performance on Saturday.
  16. Just got back from Wembley. Any news from today?
  17. Can I have my 'cut and paste' back now please....?
  18. I agree with you 'Dan'
  19. And to think Baj deleted one of my cut and pastes in the opposite direction. Double standards IMO...
  20. Yep, cheers. Makes for interesting reading now. Ta.
  21. Meanwhile....am I the only one ever so slightly concerned that Southampton Leisure Holdings announced to the London Stock Exchange than Poortvliet "resigned" when Poortvliet is being reported as saying that he was "dismissed"? I supposed it could be lost in translation though....
