  1. So, does this mean that the Administrator is 100% satisfied with their credentials (i..e. the 'proved funds' bit) and it now 'simply' down to the consortia to satisfy themselves that the accounts are in order? In other words, the way the process works, there is no step in the process from here on in whereby the administrator would decline their (combined?) offer, it's purely down the consortia satisfying themselves now?
  2. Sorry, my mistake...I'm getting my IQ mixed up with my age....
  3. I'm 40 and crying reading this thread... http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=12549&page=3 I never thought football would get to me like this. Soppy old bugger Trousers
  4. I've just got back from a 3 hour pub stint and re-reading through this thread has made me cry...soppy old git...! Yes, the "how are they going to distribute these tickets at such short notice?" conundrum did occur to me too but, as Roswell posted earlier...it's great to have a nice problem for once rather than a bad one.... Whilst I'm not 100% in the "Lowe was bad for this club" camp, I'm convinced that a fan initiative like this simply wouldn't have happened under Lowe due to human nature... Reading and particpating in this thread has engendered a sense of the family and community spirit that once thrived at this club and hopefully this is a sign of the 'green shoots' of that spirit re-emerging. Let's not worry about the logistics of how these tickets are going to be distributed....it's the principle that counts and all I know is that some downtrodden kids are going to have a sparkle in their eyes tomorrow and that to me is what counts.... Can't see the screen anymore...too many tears in my eye... Soppy old bugger, News at Ten Hampshire
  5. I think they'll accept any combination but the 'default' is an Adult/Child pair at £30 for the two
  6. p.p.s. too many other stickies....hope this one doesn't get lost....wood for trees etc cheerio
  7. Heading off to the pub now. Final congrats to Roswell and the Ticket Office. Pride of Southampton p.s. keep pointing other threads at this one....

  9. Front page of the Echo for you Mr Roswell! Take a bow
  10. Cheers. Left a message
  11. . Nice one
  12. What's the print deadline for front page of tomorrow's echo?
  13. Stay open another hour guys!! The future of the club depends on it...and you'll make some children very happy
  14. Must admit....It has brought a bit of a lump to my throat.
  15. They did indeed sound snowed under when I called half hour ago
  16. Don't think you can do PMs if not a signed up member of the message board? Here's the details: ring 02380 711912 and ask for Kelly Southwell (or one of her colleagues) and mention that you're aware of an initiative to donate tickets to the kid's school.
  17. Spread the word
  18. So, Southampton Leisure Holdings does have other revenue generating subsidiaries other than the Football Club? For example, proceeds from a rock concert would go to the Stadium company rather than directly into SFC or SLH? Which blows the Football League's argument about SFC being the sole revenue generator out of the water, does it not?
  19. Apologies if I've jumped the gun by posting the direct contact number
  20. I hope they don't mind me posting this but it is for a great cause (twice over)...ring 02380 711912 and ask for Kelly Southwell and mention that you're aware of an initiative to donate tickets to the kid's school. They chose the best seats for me
  21. I said I "wanted to donate them to the the kids school via the Saints in the Community initiative" or words to that effect...they were fully aware that of the initiative being kicked off from here via Roswell. Ask for Kelly Southwell if all else fails - she sent me the initial email reply.
  22. Have just booked and donated mine....very quick and easy....no membership number needed...just a credit or debit card....
  23. I don't think so. I believe you just buy tickets as you would normally do and they will simply place them in the 'donate' basket rather than the 'for collection' one
