If it's an injury that's unrelated to his previous injury (as per the Echo report this evening) then it could just be rotten luck, rather than misjudgment, couldn't it?

How many transfer windows is that now that we've failed to appoint an accomplished and/or prolific striker? Surely the powers-that-be won't cock up yet another window in that regard...?

I'm not sure if this works all the time, but something I heard recently was if you send yourself a recorded delivery parcel when you are expecting an important letter it'll speed up delivery as they'll bundle up any standard mail with the parcel van. Shouldn't be necessary of course, and a bit of a PITA, but a potential top tip nonetheless.
