I'm usually a "let's wait to see how things pan out rather than jumping to premature conclusions" kinda chap (Exhibit A: my regular berating of the 'happy to be proven wrong' brigade) but my gut feel on us not re-signing Ings is that we'll end up regretting it. Nothing more than a hunch but I just feel he's exactly what we needed in the short term given the current circumstances. Assuming both he and the club were open to the notion of him coming back then I think we've made a mistake in not making it happen. Happy to be proven wrong, of course...
