Anyone know why England are playing in a pink / orange blend rather than red?

"B" team match away at Exeter
trousers replied to under the west stand's topic in Saints Away Supporters
I believe blocks L and M in the 'Selco Main Stand' is the designated seating area for away fans, as shown in blue in the stadium plans below (confirmed in this guide here: https://footballgroundguide.com/leagues/england/league-two/st-james-park-exeter-city.html) . It looks like the usual away terrace is closed. (First screenshot below is for the Saints game and the second screenshot is an example from a standard league game which shows the normal away fan areas) Plenty of seats available in blocks L & M... -
Booooooo! Bring back the positive version of Charlie from a few weeks ago!

I agree with DT!

Would like to think so... can't think of any other reason why they would post such a cryptic message...? p.s. I love his jumper / cardigan... when do I get one of those from?!

Ralph's win rate in 2020 was 47%... ... oops, sorry, I keep forgetting calendar year stats are "meaningless".... ignore me.... my bad....

Don't need a poll... I can exclusively reveal that it's me! #proudpedant (That said, the act of correcting a figure of 70% that in reality is 1.42% is an interesting interpretation of the word 'pedantry'... Seems like quite a significant difference to me but, not being one of the forum's self-appointed intelligentsia, what do I know...? ) P.s. I hear Bank of England interest rates went up by 56% yesterday. Jeepers, nobody saw that coming.

I wonder what the remaining 97.8% think...?

There are 12,719 SaintsWeb members and 181 of them voted for Ralph to go. According to my O-Level maths that's 1.42%....

Whichever option is closest to my current position, which is: "Currently undecided. Let's see where we are cometh the World Cup. If we're comfortably around mid-table, I would probably lean towards sticking with him a bit longer but, equally, I wouldn't be unhappy if the board decided the time was right for change. However, if we're struggling around the bottom third of the table cometh the World Cup then I'd definitely be in the 'time for a change' camp"

Aye, that too

The Possibility of a Proper Derby Match is on the Horizon
trousers replied to John B's topic in The Saints
He's turned things around in phases before, so why would it be surprising if he did it again? Whilst I'm having doubts about Ralph's overall capabilities, and wouldn't be against a change of manager during this season if that's how it pans out, I don't think it's beyond belief that he may go through a similar purple patch to that which we experienced last season that saw us hit top 6 form for three consecutive months, and seeing us safe in February, after a below par start. Basically, I'm inclined to keep an open mind on such matters rather than conclude the season is bound to go one way or t'other after 7 games. -

Still working on the cynicism gold medal....?

Loaning academy players out for "work experience". Not heard of that happening before. Is this a new initiative or have I just been blissfully ignorant over the years...?

"Trialist scored a screamer" Get him on the bus!

Stu was pretty much the first player on Ralph's team sheet in our halcyon year of 2020, and there was that curious long running stat where we never lost when he played. I wonder why he's now seemingly out of favour? (I know I keep mentioning this but he never seemed the same after that bout of covid he had....)

That goes without saying. We were never going to get to the end of the Universe without Saints and Pompey being in the same league again at some point.
