Yeah, think this is where my thinking-out-loud was leading. If the prospect of selling as a premier League club has reached a stalemate, then something as 'creative' as relegation might be something that is worth Gao contemplating, even if, on reflection, it's bonkers... what other options does he have if he can't attract a suitable buyer whilst in the PL...?

JWP would be an able 4th choice cover for RB thus adding some more flexibility to the squad

I personally think we should be thankful that we have an intellectually superior poster such as Lord D pointing out how shite JWP is 17 times a day. Without such a valuable contribution to the forum there's every chance we might forget just how woeful JWP is and for that I'm extremely grateful. Keep it up Lord D.
