If VvD is only "80% ready", wouldn't a low key pre season friendly be an ideal opportunity to expedite getting him up to 100% fit? He's been doing training with the ball for at least two months now, hasn't he? Surely his foot could take half an hour or so of a non-competitive friendly? If I was a cynic, I'd be inclined to believe there is another reason he isn't in the squad...

As coincidences go, that's up there with the best. I'm currently sat in the Banana Bar in C'an Picafort, Mallorca. True (straw man) story (And, no, that isn't a Glasgow-esque stock photo of said establishment...)

There aren't any trolls on this forum. Haven't been for several years. Just ask the mods, they haven't banned anyone for trolling in living memory, ergo there are none.

"Anyone" had the opportunity to "stop it" at the general election a few weeks ago, by voting for a non pro-Brexit party.

Their minimal communication policy this summer does seem out of character compared to previous seasons. All a bit odd.
