With my conspiracy hat on, I wonder if this could be one of the first, seemingly innocuous, steps in an upcoming ownership change? Maybe this Rolf fella ("Katharina's right hand man") is starting to pull together a takeover consortium (on behalf of Katharina) hence needing to step down to avoid a conflict of interest, or some such...? One would assume Dragan's wealth generating capabilities have taken a hit following his ousting from the company he founded (United Group)...???... Which could / would impact his ability to continue to fund a football club, especially one on the cusp of a potential return to the premier league...? Probably a load of nonsense from yours truly, for a change, but it's in my DNA to ponder such things...!
