  1. Football Manager 2025 is bringing some huge changes! Can't complain this year is simply a 'data update'! The biggest one that will make the most difference is that Football Manager will no longer be made using an in house engine. Instead it will use all the benefits of the Unity game engine, which will see huge advances in the user interface and the match graphics. Womens football is also making its debut, so you can manage Southampton's men and womens teams. Plus, for the first time ever Sports Interactive have the licence for the Premier League! They already have the EFL and UEFA licences.
  2. The club makes a lot of the catchment area being on the coast. But we are on island and lots of teams are on or very near to the coast. 7 in the PL and 8 in the Championship. Saints are far from unique on this.
  3. Our last season in the PL saw us spend circa £140m
  4. We spent more than that in our last PL season, was circa £140m under Sport Republic in 2022/23. Not well spent, but still spent.
  5. Burnley spent alot, on a lot of players...
  6. From 21:30 https://talksport.com/radio/listen-again/1716886800/1716890400/ Enjoy
  7. Will be interesting to see if Carlos Alcaraz and Armel Bella-Kotchap can be reintegrated into the squad after their loans to Juventus and PSV. Both are big talents and hopefully can play a part next season in the Premier League.
  8. Thank you ☺
  9. The current club CEO publically stating they have plans suggests it is edging closer in geological time.
  10. Southampton CEO Phil Parsons on 12th May 2024 said when interviewed by the BBC... "We do want to expand St Mary’s, eventually. We've already got plans in place to do that." https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0hxl2gt
  11. You've just posted in it.
  12. I'm not going to respond or even read this thread now until he signs for Saints, another club or stays at Man United into September. 🙄😁
  13. It was a rhyme and nod to previous transfer 'sagas' such as Skacel. I wasn't being serious ffs
  14. Things get lost in the huge transfer thread. A thread each for any half decent rumour means all discussion and links for that player is easy to find in one place.
  15. No backtracking. I don't recall the uproar at the use of the word saga in that thread.
  16. It was a thread title in jest and rhyme, invoking fond memories of the 'Pompey takeover saga' thread.
  17. So you didn't enjoy his performance as the grandad in 8 simple rules?
  18. James Garner - transfer saga
  19. Doesn't seem to bother Nottingham Forest.
  20. This is nonsense. You will struggle to find many other Premier League CEOs, CFOs and 1st team managers who do fans forums. They are under no obligation to do them and yet they choose to do so.
  21. Simeu is probably ahead of Pambou in the pecking order given he has already played first team football in the Football League and been training with the Saints first team.
