  1. Signing 'good characters' is what lumbered Saints with Walcott on a contract until 2023! We could do a lot better than Lacelles if we want to upgrade on Bednarek!
  2. @Turkish unable to make a coherent point so resorts to petty insults. Straight from the @Turkishplaybook!
  3. 1) The existence of a monarchy means we do not live in a full democracy. That is a bad thing. 2) Some of the many benefits... - We would live in a full democracy - The UK taxpayer would not need to subsidise the descendants of medieval warlords - Royal palaces in Republican France make more money from tourism than the royal palaces in the UK. More of the area of them being accessible to the public makes a difference. So a tourism boost to the economy clearly is not a reason to keep the current lot! We'd be better off doing what republican France does!

  5. What has she done to achieve this 'respect'? What benefit does this respect bring?
  6. What about my response was 'missing it'?
  7. I did not say they had enacted a law. I said they technically still hold political power despite being unelected... thus our system is not fully democratic.
  8. What do you think I said in that post?
  9. What point were you trying to make then?
  10. Not entirely we don't! None of us apart from some one family descended from medieval warlords can become Head of State The unelected head of state technically still has some politcal powers, although unlikely to ever use them as it would potentially bring the monarchy down.
  11. He could cut more ribbons 🎀 And open more mini curtains
  12. He'd need to be voted in and unlike a monarch we could kick him out by voting him out. We don't currently live in a full democracy in the UK. That is a bad thing.
  13. 1) A 'good influence' on what? 2) Republics can vote for their head of state and kick them out after 4 or 5 years if they aren't doing a good job. The current situation leaves us stuck potentially with someone for 70 years due to fluke of birth. Why do you think the latter is a better situation?
  14. Burnley are 6 points below Saints, 2 more points for them isn't enough. Leeds overtaking Saints would need a remarkable set of results to happen. Including a turnaround in the +18 goal difference advantage Saints have.
  15. Sacrificial
  16. I'd rather have Bednarek. Just because you want him upgraded, doesn't mean any old other bottom half quality centre back is an improvement. Lacelles is very limited!
  17. Well done to her for being born and giving birth. No-one else in our species has ever managed that before!
  18. What has she done that couldn't be achieved as a republic? How has she 'united the country'? Cutting ribbons isn't particularly impressive!
  19. God save the Queen A fictional character 'saving' an unelected descendant of medieval warlords What an amazing inclusive message for a democracy that is! @Guided MissiIe 🙄
  20. If what is true? Him having short odds? And why 'either way'? Odds shorten if punters place bets. The reason they placed the bet could be completely without evidence and merely them wishing it to happen.
  21. Still a red card offence that VAR ignored
  22. Tottenham players can...
  23. You have the cheek to use petty insults like that, when 15 minutes ago you said.. "so stick that in your assumptive little Japs eye"
