No validation of this being true but...

Who said that? Because he is from the same continent of over 1 billion people and plays in a similar position?

I blame it on the boogie!

That isn't true. Multiple games sellout as you acknowledge and if a game sells out then your statement is incorrect unless you think supply is exactly the same as demand for them. -
It isn't looking good for him, looks like Nathan Tella is rightfully now above him in pecking order.
-
It should make no difference. Playing for Saints did not stop Ward-Prowse. The squad also contains players from... Sheff Utd, Brighton, West Brom etc It is injuries that have stopped Ings making the squad as he had a very disjointed season, not who he plays for.
-
No it isn't. A relatively small budget isn't the same as 'no funds'. Last summer (despite being 6 months into the pandemic) the club spent more on players than it sold.
-
'Instead of'? Ronnie Ekelund was exactly that! He played 1 game for Barcelona's first team and was an obscure player the Saints fanbase had not heard of.
-
He died in 1992.

It is covered as a bonus match if you have a monthly subscription to Now TV Sports package.

He scored 2 goals in his first 3 Saints games. So was proving to be somewhat effective from the time you are talking about.

17th place Burnley can't catch us.

I'm not anywhere near as insufferable in real life! 😉 Sure I annoy some people on here, but many Saints fans don't mind my internet personna. If you don't like my posts... the forum has a block function! -
1885 to 2020 being the 135th anniversary was the main focus of the marketing campaign. 135 years seems a strange number for an anniversary.
-
Did this year's 135 anniversary really count as a meaningful anniversary? 🤔

We haven't played the team (Barnsley) I said I want promoted in the Premier League for 23 years. That adds variety!

If they want a block in the Kingsland for more posh seats... then it sounds like they need another tier in the Kingsland for more affordable seats for those displaced. 😉 -
You'd rather we didn't have extra money to improve the club/team?

Home form has not been the problem this season, the away form is the issue. It is the reverse of 2019/20 when our away form was superb but poor at home. Saints have the 8th best home record in 2020/21. Only 6 points from having the 2nd best record. https://www.soccerstats.com/homeaway.asp?league=england -
Pompey will only have the 8th biggest stadium in the 3rd tier next season. Sheff Wednesday Sunderland Ipswich Charlton Bolton Wigan MK Dons All with bigger stadiums. #tinpot

You appear to be responding to something I haven't said. I didn't say it was impossible to enjoy lower league football. But to wish to stay there indefinitely is strange when progression is possible and even more strange when you are already in the top league and wish to drop out if it. -

British clubs haven't had it before, so it isn't a case of having it 'back'. British clubs have already been given the green light to install sections so no need for a campaign. Spurs, Celtic, Wolves and both Manchester clubs... https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/12254999/manchester-city-to-install-large-safe-standing-area-at-etihad-stadium -
It would have given Saints more money as the parachute payments would have been shared out.

No... winning a oneoff playoff final wouldn't make them stronger than Brentford.
