It isn't only out wide. I said the strikers, number 10s and fullbacks. The fullbacks create the width, the others are narrow. The two 'number 10s' in the 4222 aren't wingers.

We don't need 'flair' from the two defensive midfielders, it isn't their role in the system for that. It is the front four and fullbacks where the flair should be.

I think Forster and Bednarek starting would have helped. I'm not saying it would have won the game or got a draw, but I prefer them to McCarthy and Stephens.

McCarthy is a liability and Bednarek and Salisu were not playing together today.

Not playing one game doesn't mean he isn't first choice. Do you think Walker-Peters and Atmstrong not starting means the aren't first choice for the entire season?
