Is Deuteronomy not part of your Bible... should we just ignore the evil it contains from God? -

You've quoted yourself and ignored the questions! -
Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES

1) I'd love you to explain why you think God say that rape victims should marry their rapists is a good thing! 2) I'd love you to explain why you think God ordering the slaughter of thousands and keeping the woman to enjoy them as spoils of war is a good think! I find it bizarre you think there is any context where either of those things is from a kind and loving God! Stop making excuses for an evil fictional character! -
The burden of proof is on the person making a claim. That is how burden of proof works. What claims do you think I've made without evidence?
-
In what context is kill the infidels acceptable? Do you agree that the Bible gives the punishment for breaking 10 commandments like disobeying your parents is death?
-
a) You ignored the question about what you believe concerning God. b) You clearly don't know what confirmation bias is. c) Only a couple of people (not dozens) interviewed Ralph after the game, I used the tweet of one of them. That does not mean I've passed any comment about prayer... this is utterly bizarre you are persisting with this line. That was solely about JWP's injury not being bad. d) I'll ask (again)... do you think it is fine that the Qu'ran says non believers should be killed?

I did not say it was all about it. But God of the Bible thinks it is fine, as he also does for slavery and genocide. Deuteronomy 20:10-14 As you approach a town to attack it, first offer its people terms for peace. If they accept your terms and open the gates to you, then all the people inside will serve you in forced labor. But if they refuse to make peace and prepare to fight, you must attack the town. When the LORD your God hands it over to you, kill every man in the town. But you may keep for yourselves all the women, children, livestock, and other plunder. You may enjoy the spoils of your enemies that the LORD your God has given you. He also thinks that rape victims should marry their rapists! Deuteronomy 22:28-29 If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her. .............. You need to read the book before calling me a 'thick ****er'! -
Only because they don't understand what the burden of proof means (I have doubts if you know). Evidence needs to manifest in reality, be testable and the claim be falsifiable. Enlighten us... what do you believe concerning God or is this entirely a wind-up? I did spend time with them on New Year's day. As for May Day and August bank holiday, few families stay indoors at those times. A winter celebration pre-dates Christianity. They don't own it! It isn't hard to justify why killing non believers is an abhorrent piece of scripture. As is the way woman are treated. Do you think both those things are ok?
-
1) You first need to prove God exists. Can you provide some good evidence please? 2) If he did exist... why does that make his rules automatically good? 3) Do you think the 10 commandment that disobedient children should be followed? The punishment in the Bible is to kill those children... is that the rule of a kind and loving God who should be respected? (I doubt you'll answer all three questions. Surprise me...)
-
We've been through this before. You need a dictionary! Use it for hypocrite and adjacent because you keep misusing those terms in application. 1) I'm not an adjacent if I think the religion hasn't met its burden of proof 2) I'm not a hypocrite as I don't follow any religious practise. Celebrations, gift giving and meeting friends and family in winter existed long before Christianity. 3) Finally... why is it a problem to be anti a religion if it supports genocide, sexism, homophobia, slavery etc. Are you in favour of those things?

It is available for free on the Telegraph website.

1) Why don't you answer the question? 2) Yes I do

Are you denying the Bible condones rape? It has passages where God commands genocides but allows his choosen tribe to keep the virgins for themselves. How odd you decide to cherry pick the book and ignore those bits! -
Yet again... you ignored the questions
-
That does not answer the question. Try again
-
I think it is harmful as it influences people's decisions based on something that is unjustified. Is there a problem being anti a religion thaf instucts forvthe killing of non believers and is sexist? Are you in favour of those things?
-
Can you explain why to both
-
Yes
-
1) You ignored my question. Try answering it. 2) I can't answer your question unless define 'anti Islam'? I think it is harmful to those who follow it and impacts negatively on others. I think the same of pretty much every religion, none of which have met their burden of proof.
-
Both have not met their burden of proof Both have horrendous things they endorse in their scripture Do you agree or disagree with both of those statements?
-
Read more carefully Turkish!!! That is about Christainity, not Islam! All those can be easily supported with multiple quotes from scripture. I could say similar about Islam. But that doesn't make it Islamophobia, if it is supported by the nonsense in thr svripture.

Giving gifts at that time of year pre-dates Christianity. Not sure how despite going through this numerous times you can't grasp that seeing family and giving gifts towards the end of the year is not unique to Christianity and did not originate with Christianity! It was a tweet by one of the few people to have spoken to the manager. My post was to rely the injury news. It is bizarre you think that retweeting someone means that you support everything in the tweet. Nonsense! You can't be a 'Christian adjacent' if... 1) You don't think it has met its burden of proof 2) You think it is a morally horrendous religion that supports genocide, slavery, sexism, homophobia

Scripture in the Bible is used as a justification for children not having blood transfusions and some have died due to their parents refusing treatment for them. -
Not sure why you don't think Liebherr is a fan. She has flown over for a lot of games over the past 10 years, she wouldn't bother if she wasn't a fan. The actual difference between Norwich taking 9k and Saints 6k is that Norwich have significantly longer to sell those tickets compared to a quickly arranged replay with little gap after the first game.

What are you claiming he has lied about? He hasn't denied loving her.
