A guess based on it being a common clause in sales of promising young players. Bayern Munich would have been foolish not to include such a clause.

Potentially €6.5m for Hoedt... https://www.voetbal24.be/news/62754/wesley-hoedt-voor-65-miljoen-op-weg-naar-belgische-topclub-

Lemina has not won the Champions League

Millions of pounds of prize money is up for grabs. If Saints draw and Everton play afterwards they would know they wouldn't need to win to stay above us and could settle for a draw.
-
I'd guess 10% to 15% of any fee will go to Bayern Munich as a sell on clause.

He wasn't the first to the story.

I doubt Spurs would care about Saints accepting a higher offer for Hojbjerg than their own. It would be nonsensical for Saints to accept a lower offer by Spurs. Levy is a businessman and it would be daft to cut off your nose to spite your face. Why turn down money for Walker-Peters if an offer comes in from Saints and he is for sale?

Nope, irritated.

Alex Crook does not have sources. He has voices in his head and/or the ability to copy and paste from proper journalists.

Players you would sign from relegated teams....
Matthew Le God replied to Yorkshire Saint's topic in The Saints
Seen him play quite a lot where? He has struggled throughout his career to get gametime in the Bundesliga and doesn't stand out for a very poor Norwich team. I struggle to see why signing him at 32 years old after a significant injury is a good idea for Saints. I'd rather we sign players in the 19-24 bracket who have the potential to be top players and use us as a stepping stone for 2-3 years. Signing players like Klose is a recipe for relegation! -
That is not true Trippier played 107 Premier League games at the time he left for Spain aged 28 Hojbjerg has played 126 Premier League/Bundesliga games and is only 24

Yep, £35k per week before tax for someone starting games for Saints is very low! We have a lot of players on significantly more than that. Salisu wouldn't be joining us even aged 21 to be sitting on the bench for long. Stephens and Bednarek may start the next campaign as they have a decent partnership and not too long between seasons to bed in Salisu, but I think Salisu would soon find his way into the team once the season is up and running.

I doubt Daniel Levy would like the comparison with Hitler!

He is 32 years old... and shit. I'd rather we didn't! 😃 -
Yes, the Sudetenland (part of Czechoslovakia!) 😃 Not sure how that is relevant as an analogy!
-
Perhaps there was, but not everything is made public. The club that sign him announce the deal, other clubs that wanted him but didn't sign him won't announce they didn't get him. In Southampton's case, even if they were interested there is no point getting him if they have other targets they want that are higher up their target list.
-
Can you cite an example where he has done something similar in the past?
-
Ok, that is a good point. I lost focus in the epic battle for 11th!

There are reports Saints want to do any deal for KWP and Hojbjerg separately so the values are kept apart from each other. If Spurs don't want KWP it would be a bizarre decision to make things awkward for Saints to buy him. They need the money so why turn a reasonable bid down?
-
Why? 🤔
-
You want plucky Bournemouth to stay up then? Or a 10-0 scoreline?
-
Saints may prefer over options... like Kyle Walker-Peters

Amazon and the BBC only had 4 games each for Project Restart. Both have already shown their 4 games I think. So if that is the case Sunday's games will only be on Sky & BT.
