  1. It was a rebuttal to Turkish complaining they had spent a lot more than Saints. Spending money is not want is important... it is how you spend it. And even though Saints have messed up some recent transfers, for value for money they are doing a lot better than Everton (having spent less and close on points) 'Maxing' - you appear to be using that as a negative... why? 'Small squad' - again Hasenhuttl has said he deliberately wants a small squad to keep the players interested, rather than lots of senior players hanging around, not playing and knocking morale in training
  2. So you decide to ignore everything I say and bring up something completely irrelevant! How about you play the post and not the poster!
  3. By being bailed out by owners. For all the money you mention Everton have spent, they are currently only 2 points ahead, so it clearly has been Saints with better value for money spent. It is not how much you spend it is how well you spend it. Sure Saints have had lots of **** ups in recent years, and until those **** ups have left the club I think it is unlikely we'll be spending big. It is daft to have a go at the club in the transition phase where they have admitted they mess up and are now trying to resolve it. It will take a few transfer windows.
  4. Are you suggesting that is a bad thing? Would you prefer the club to be unsustainable?
  5. Is that the Everton that are currently only 2 points above Saints? Clearly our money has been better spent and is better value for points earned.
  6. As this is clearly at me. - How do you know I'm hetrosexual? - How do you know I'm white? - Thinking a religion is evil for supporting slavery, genocide, sexism and homophobia is not extreme right wing - You can't be supportive of Christianity if you think its morals are bad and it has not met its burden of proof
  7. We are currently level on points with 10th place, so how is our start relevant to if we can get into the top 10 in the remaining games?
  8. It is not free, along with part or all of wages paid, a loan fee will also be paid to Saints.
  9. Every club has to sell to buy. PL clubs are restricted to 25 players over 21 years old. You can't keep buying without selling/loaning players out.
  10. So them being evil justifies genocide and rape being ordered by God on them? And this is a 'kind and loving' God? Do you have children? Have they ever been disobedient? Did you kill them as the God of the Bible instructs? If not... why not? If you don't have children, would you kill them as the Bible instructs... if not... why not?
  11. 1) No religious element to my day = not religious (bizarre you can't understand that!) 2) You don't know that Islam is not a race... it is a religion. You can choose your religion... you can't choose your race 3) Again we've been through this and you still can't grasp that someone who doesn't believe in a God and thinks the teaching are harmful can't be a Christian adjacent 4) You don't understand what burden of proof means. The person making a claim has the burden of proof.
  12. Well being. Is something positive or negative to someone's well being. The God of the Bible has rules that negatively impact on people, he instructs genocide, rape, slavery, sexism... those are all negative to well being and thus that God is evil. Is it good for the mental health of a rape victim to be forced to marry their rapist? The God of the Bible instructs rape victim to marry their rapists. Deuteronomy 22:28-29 If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her.
  13. Do you know what was used as a justification for slavery... the Bible The God of the Bible outlines who you can own, how long you can own them for, how you can punish them and how much they cost. The Bible supports slavery! ffs
  14. Is Deuteronomy not part of your Bible... should we just ignore the evil it contains from God?
  15. You've quoted yourself and ignored the questions!
  16. 1) I'd love you to explain why you think God say that rape victims should marry their rapists is a good thing! 2) I'd love you to explain why you think God ordering the slaughter of thousands and keeping the woman to enjoy them as spoils of war is a good think! I find it bizarre you think there is any context where either of those things is from a kind and loving God! Stop making excuses for an evil fictional character!
  17. The burden of proof is on the person making a claim. That is how burden of proof works. What claims do you think I've made without evidence?
  18. In what context is kill the infidels acceptable? Do you agree that the Bible gives the punishment for breaking 10 commandments like disobeying your parents is death?
  19. a) You ignored the question about what you believe concerning God. b) You clearly don't know what confirmation bias is. c) Only a couple of people (not dozens) interviewed Ralph after the game, I used the tweet of one of them. That does not mean I've passed any comment about prayer... this is utterly bizarre you are persisting with this line. That was solely about JWP's injury not being bad. d) I'll ask (again)... do you think it is fine that the Qu'ran says non believers should be killed?
  20. I did not say it was all about it. But God of the Bible thinks it is fine, as he also does for slavery and genocide. Deuteronomy 20:10-14 As you approach a town to attack it, first offer its people terms for peace. If they accept your terms and open the gates to you, then all the people inside will serve you in forced labor. But if they refuse to make peace and prepare to fight, you must attack the town. When the LORD your God hands it over to you, kill every man in the town. But you may keep for yourselves all the women, children, livestock, and other plunder. You may enjoy the spoils of your enemies that the LORD your God has given you. He also thinks that rape victims should marry their rapists! Deuteronomy 22:28-29 If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her. .............. You need to read the book before calling me a 'thick ****er'!
  21. Only because they don't understand what the burden of proof means (I have doubts if you know). Evidence needs to manifest in reality, be testable and the claim be falsifiable. Enlighten us... what do you believe concerning God or is this entirely a wind-up? I did spend time with them on New Year's day. As for May Day and August bank holiday, few families stay indoors at those times. A winter celebration pre-dates Christianity. They don't own it! It isn't hard to justify why killing non believers is an abhorrent piece of scripture. As is the way woman are treated. Do you think both those things are ok?
  22. 1) You first need to prove God exists. Can you provide some good evidence please? 2) If he did exist... why does that make his rules automatically good? 3) Do you think the 10 commandment that disobedient children should be followed? The punishment in the Bible is to kill those children... is that the rule of a kind and loving God who should be respected? (I doubt you'll answer all three questions. Surprise me...)
  23. We've been through this before. You need a dictionary! Use it for hypocrite and adjacent because you keep misusing those terms in application. 1) I'm not an adjacent if I think the religion hasn't met its burden of proof 2) I'm not a hypocrite as I don't follow any religious practise. Celebrations, gift giving and meeting friends and family in winter existed long before Christianity. 3) Finally... why is it a problem to be anti a religion if it supports genocide, sexism, homophobia, slavery etc. Are you in favour of those things?
