  1. Ok... regardless of style... which of their players would you want in out starting eleven? I guess people would make a case for... Pope, Mee, Tarkowski. But anyone else?
  2. How many of their players would you want in our starting eleven playing Hasenhuttl style football and not Dyche style football?
  3. 18th place currently has 25 points from 27 games. Less than a point per game! Over a 38 game season that points per game ratio would equal 33.7 points.
  4. No, says who scored.com
  5. The Europa League qualifying rounds and group stages have some pretty ****ty teams in it. Plus we'd be unlikely to not have any of the first choice players in the team.
  6. My post was responding to how they'd do in the Championship as SKD said they'd struggle. Adams has more than proven himself at that level. Leicester weren't interested in Vestergaard for ****s and giggles. He isn't as bad as many make out. Danso is **** I agree, Smallbone and Vokins I acknowledged are unproven. Using the Leicester match to write off Gunn is unfair, he wasn't to blame for the 9 goals. I think his time will come again. Romeu has declined, but could easily do a job in the Championship.
  7. Well it doesn't really work as a question because you need more than 11 players in a squad, but they'd be competing towards the top.
  8. They don't play because we have better alternatives, that does not mean they aren't capable in the PL.
  9. (and Danso)
  10. Nonsense, all of them except Vokins and Smallbone have shown they are more than capable in the Premier League.
  11. 3 and 6
  12. They are only 4 and 6 points above us. That really isn't much. They are above us due to playing well as a unit throughout the entire season, not individual quality. Squad for squad, Saints have the more talented footballers. If we had been playing 4-2-2-2 for the entire season I don't think it is unreasonable to think we'd be above both of them given the current small gap.
  13. If they made Europe they'd probably slightly increase the squad size to deal with the extra games. You can't judge the squad in a non European campaign season for a European campaign season.
  14. Spinning
  15. Quote the posts that you think are in conflict with each other.
  16. Boiler
  17. That is simply not true.
  18. It is bizarre how much you twist words and don't realise you are doing it! Valery missing the last couple of games is not a problem that required a 3rd right back signed in January, as he is close to being ready to play.
  19. It doesn't really get him off the wagebill, as you'd have to pay him those contracted wages.
  20. 1) When did I say there was 'no problem'? 2) He did play in a game last week and thus is no longer ill, that was my point which you keep twisting. Do you know the difference between not being ill, being 'fit' and being 'fully match fit'?
  21. You make this difficult! I said he wasn't injured and was building towards match fitness with the 60 mins for the u23s. It is not as black and white as you make out with fit or not fit. You build towards full match fitness, even when no longer ill or injured.
  22. Fit enough to return to an under 23 game for 60 mins and be on the bench, is different to ready to start.
  23. That is not a question.
