  1. Wouldn't it have been easier to use a photo of him from 2019?
  2. Martin had better players at his disposal. Makes things easier for him.
  3. My favourite animal
  4. It was a question, not a 'take'.
  5. What makes you think he is making decisions at Saints currently? He is chairman of Goztepe.
  6. That isn't true. He was at Swansea for one season and they came 10th. He then joined Brighton who were already in the Premier League.
  7. It is harder think of reasons why he wouldn't. As Saints even if relegated can offer a... Better squad Significantly bigger budget for transfers and wages Bigger wage for himself We'd be funded by parachute payments and player sales after relegation that blow Sheff Weds out of the water. They can't compete with us financially.
  8. I think being offered a job at one of the biggest clubs in world football would be the main factor.
  9. Because Bayern Munich offered him a job.
  10. A national journalist with a track record of good contacts at Saints
  11. No, in the New Forest. Yes, I know Southampton traffic is a mess.
  12. We do have a DoF, Mark Bitcon.
  13. Danny Rohl linked for a return... https://x.com/JackRosser_/status/1868421239402107205?t=5PkQE72uSPoQImf6pLmqlA&s=19
  14. The point was about their intention. Not whether they fail.
  15. Looks like we will be a Championship club, but their intention by spending that large amount of money isn't to be a Championship club. That is what makes it true.
  16. The post is still true
  17. It would be a struggle to find any club media output that asks the owner difficult questions. Not just Saints.
  18. Which is why raising revenue makes sense as it will help fund it.
  19. There are not unconnected. Income raised can help improve quality on the pitch. Every little helps.
  20. For those questioning the need for expansion please give an answer to this. As we sellout every PL game when it is this bad to watch what is on the pitch from a newly promoted team, how many tickets do you think we would sell on average in a bigger St Mary’s if we were mid table in the PL like we have been in the past? The answer should just be a number.
  21. The City Council acknowledge that in the statement... "Enhanced Transport and Infrastructure plans to improve connectivity, making it easier for residents and visitors to access the waterfront area."
  22. Very good point
  23. Our last two Championship seasons have been averages of 29k+ under Martin and 26k+ under Adkins A very good chance of lots of wins will see big crowds if we are relegated.
  24. Can you suggest an example of what they could say that would satisfy you?
  25. Puzzled why you are talking about Burnley. Currently 4th with a decent chance of promotion. Same will be the case for many parachute payment clubs, especially those with players they can also sell for big money. Like we have with Harwood-Bellis, Dibling and Fernandes. Are you denying our squad is packed full of top Championship level players. Just take Archer, Brereton Diaz and Armstrong. They all struggle in the Premier League but score for fun in the Championship.
