Even without Ings, all our strikers are comfortably a long way above mid table L1 level like Pompey's defence.

We would gain by going into the next round able to celebrate what should be an easy victory at the expense of our main rivals. Unlike a 2nd round game vs any other L1 side we'd probably have close(ish) to our best XI playing like we did last time vs Pompey.

Salisu isn't a kid, he is 23 years old and has played 78 top flight games! The problem on Saturday was playing 352 with Djenepo and Valery and no decent striker, not that Salisu was playing. Salisu is already easily good enough for what we need (even if he makes the odd daft decision).
