Saints would possibly need to subsidise his wage for that to happen. They'd currently be too much for Championship clubs.
-
Build a canal and they will come!
-
We currently have a space for a striker, Bednarek or Stephens would probably need to leave to make room for a centre back.

Under 23 squad filler

'X number of games'... means an unknown number of games. It isn't a phrase I made up.
-
It is a fee 'rising to £16m', so it will only be that if for example he plays X number of games etc.

Sparkes - 1st team keeper coach Watson - set piece coach Davis - put out the cones and dressing room moral
-
A circa £25m profit would hardly be a disastrous situation.
-
Saints have the same keeper coach as they did last season.... Andrew Sparkes.
-
A lot of Saints fans (myself included) thought that about Livramento, but he ended up starting the season. I think McCarthy's issues are so problematic that a decent pre-season could potentially be all it takes for Bazunu to quickly overtake him.
-
As he spent last season at Pompey he was last updated by the Pompey researcher rather than the Man City researcher. His current ability in FM makes him a top L1 level keeper, with a very high potential ability.
-
If the buyback is similar to the £40m+ one Saints have for Livramento then it potentially sees Saints benefit if he does go back to city with a big profit. Plus buy backs expire, so if City remain happy with Ederson then they may not go for a buy back before it does expire.

Athletic reporting that there is.

Not merely just a League One keeper, at the age of 20 he is ahead of Liverpool's 2nd choice and Bournemouth's first choice in the Republic of Ireland pecking order.

Or... Bazunu who is slightly older is viewed as better by Saints and Chelsea need players to fill out places in their u23 squad. -
Kick-ins instead of throw-ins: a potential rule change!

Watch the Rasmus Ankersen video I linked to earlier in the thread about that phrase! -
What if they feel Bazunu is better?

Were one of those complaining when they changed the rules from kick-ins to throw-ins in 1863? -
@Convict Colony It was a key point you missed. Only 4 days into the window the club hasn't made signings, that doesn't mean they aren't currently doing anything in the background currently. The buying of new clubs by Sport Republic is separate from Saints buying players.
-
It is Sport Republic looking to buy clubs, not Saints buying clubs.
