The transfer window isn't just for those out of contract. The Premier League rulebook state the window opens at midnight on the last day of the season. Hence why there have already been a number of deals between the last game of 2010/11 and 1st July.

All they have is my address, like with most on their database. If they really wanted to contact the fanbase they should do it by mail.
