  1. You are posting on a rival League One club's messageboard, given yourself the username of BHA, only posting about Brighton and have a picture of the Amex Stadium as your avatar. I think you do support Brighton really!
  2. "Us"? You have admitted you are a Man Utd fan haven't you?
  3. Thread title can be changed then.
  4. 59,600,000 people weren't on the march tbf
  5. That didn't answer any of my three questions. btw it has happened, a number of English football clubs have been liquidated recently. The "powers that be" didn't stop it happening. The Football League can't justify spending money to save Plymouth to the other 71 member clubs. Especially as it could be money down the drain if the club then goes under in the summer. Unlike Pompey there is no parachute payment to forward to Plymouth (a club with £13m of debt and no cash flow to fund the admin process).
  6. Which "powers that be" can stop an administrator pulling the plug and liquidating? How exactly would they stop it happening? How could they without upsetting the other 71 Football League Clubs?
  7. William Hague, 1977 Tory party conference in Blackpool.
  8. Peterborough and Huddersfield need Saints to slip up because it is currently out of their hands.
  9. They are safe from relegation and quite close to the playoffs. How is that not good considering the mess the club is in?
  10. Mackail-Smith isn't out of contract in the summer.

  12. Even worse was that the guy that said it was the one that was covering the Saints game and was there watching it a matter of weeks ago for his job.
  13. Craig Short, the former Notts County manager. His lack of footballing knowledge and attention to detail maybe why he lost his job...
  14. To be fair to him, he has done very well this season even if his moaning in the media is pathetic.
  15. What would have happened if the Liebherr deal broke down? The club couldn't have been supported much longer through admin and they may have pulled the plug as they was no money and the Pinnacle fiasco dragged things out.
  16. Nonsense, Saints were on the brink of going out of business in the summer of 2009. Also... - Brighton trying to get a new ground for 14 years. - Saints were looking to move from the The Dell from the 1950/60's until 2001.
  17. Why do you see that as a positive thing?
  18. All of which are regular starters. Any other players coming in mean players on high wages not getting games, thus reluctant to sign.
  19. Three managers and the owner dying didn't help. If the same had happened to Brighton I doubt they would be where they are now. Before someone has a go at Cortese for being the reason why we had three managers - none of us know why Pardew was sacked. It may or may not of been for good reason.
  20. Nothing, it has been taken completely out of context. Read the North Stand Thread.
  21. - Saints have played 36 games. - Peterborough have played 38 games. - Huddersfield have played 38 games. Peterborough and Huddersfield after their first 36 games had a poorer record than Saints. A 36 game league puts Saints 2nd, behind Brighton. Yes, it is not the Championship winning season many expected. But it is far from "mediocre".
  22. I'd love you to explain your thinking behind that?...
  23. You were right though - happy memories. Such a shame this is the high point of what Markus saw us achieve before he died. At least he witnessed it, but hopefully we will see bigger and better achievements in the coming years all thanks to him.
  24. It was the 28th March 2010.
