  1. This must be a joke. Even Alpine can't be this daft. Can he?
  2. http://audioboo.fm/boos/309941-saints-manager-nigel-adkins-talks-about-the-injuries-to-adam-lallana-alex-chamberlain-the-possibilty-of-jason-puncheon-returning-to-the-club?utm_campaign=detailpage&utm_content=retweet&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter
  3. He was on the bench against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday as well and has been back in training for a while now.
  4. Yes, official Saints Twitter.
  5. - A knock to the head and precautionary substitution. - 11 days until the next game. Hardly the end of the world.
  6. Really? Saints 59% Charlton 41% Saints 10 shots Charlton 2 shots Saints 3 corners Charlton 0 corners
  7. So a 4-0 win tonight will see Adkins sacked?
  8. Mathematically impossible, as we play them in 4 games time and there will still be plenty of games left.
  9. Maths not your strong point? You seem to not know what the term "in our hands" means. - If Saints or Brighton win every game they are guaranteed to go up. - Thus in their hands. - If Peterborough or Huddersfield or MK Dons or Bournemouth or Leyton Orient win all their games they are not guaranteed to go up. - Thus NOT in their hands.
  10. Get Saints Player. They even have a free trial at the moment.
  11. It may have escaped your notice, but he has been back in training for while now and you can see him training in the last few match build up videos.
  12. Why? Peterborough are a better side than MK Dons, have played fewer games and have more points. Far better that MK Dons won from a Saints perspective. Saints are level on points with MK Dons, have a better goal difference by 27 and still have three games in hand (plus play them at St Mary's). Peterborough are far more of a threat than MK Dons.
  13. You wouldn't want him to do this twice in quick succession to you though... Poor Barney!
  14. I know Forte is very quick, but Barnard isn't slow for this level. Forte will be behind Barnard and Guly in the pecking order to start upfront with Lambert.
  15. No-ones game is the same and you have brought/sold players in the last 18 months that would effect the budget.
  16. He was playing just behind the strikers with Hammond sitting in front of the defence (also swapped with Chaplow and Chamberlain throughout). Not a normal central midfield role in a flat midfield. Guly and Lambert can also (and have been) used deeper (although not in a flat four man midfield).
  17. What are the words to the Cortese song? Can't say I've ever heard it from my seat in the Kingsland.
  18. He was terrible. He has also lived in Peterborough for at least the last 9 years...
  19. I agree as well. I hear so many people around me at St Mary's getting upset each home game when Saints pass sideways or backwards. It sometimes is the far better option and retains possession until the team get a good opening to exploit.
  20. It runs in the family. His cousin was on Big Brother a few years ago...
  21. I agree, it is unrealistic. But there isn't really anything I can do in the database to stop it happening.
  22. I think the FM graphics are improving significantly each year. - FM11 was only SI's 3rd year of 3D graphics. - EA Sports has roughly 15 years of 3D development time, a much bigger budget and number of staff working on the graphics engine. FM will never completely close the gap completely and have graphics as good as the contemporary console football games. But we should see marked improvements over the next few years.
  23. Someone has found a player cam in the game code and unlocked it... It is like FIFA from 10 years ago!
  24. How would it be to Saints advantage? From being able to sell him to the highest bidder in a mad scramble, you restrict it to one club. In any case the club don't need to sell him, he is 17 and "could" be a Premier League player with Saints whilst still a teenager.
  25. If he hadn't signed, he wouldn't have been a Saints player beyond the summer. The club had to show ambition and money for signing on fee, wage increase, agent fees etc to keep him at the club rather than moving to a Premier League/Championship club.
