Not sure if this was directed at me? I am not claiming any particular privilege or snow flakiness - I'm merely offering to do what we were quite explicitly asked to do yesterday - work from home where possible. And for very good reasons, to help to slow the spread, and everything that goes with that. I'm quite aware that a lot of people have to go into work for a whole lot of reasons, and fair play to them - I will still be at work - I will just be doing it from home. Just highlighting that there are employers who will happily go against public advice; presumably rogue employers was the first thing the behaviour scientists put that into their models?

Anybody else been prevented from home working today! School support staff data/admin/exams, I'm completely on top of my workload, have full remote access to anything and everything I need. In full email contact with all staff, have also circulated my phone number etc. Have a fully worked plan of where I am and where I need to be between now and Easter. Have offered to come straight back in if needed. Have been directed to stay in school by HR 'the school is open and we are currently all working in the work place. If the situation changes we will notify staff of this'. Fuming!

Let's hope covid 19 is fully conversant with the Gregorian calendar then. Mind you it could be worse, thank goodness we're not relying on the virus knowing when Boxing Day is:uhoh:

Does it show that despite being huge trading blocks US and China do 'relatively' little trade with EU, not vastly more than UK does, one possible reason being that they are a long way away? Any trade lost from the current setup will need to be replaced by trade with those other blue balls, many of which are geographically distant. The size of the UK's ball vis-a-vis the EU cuts both ways, but it's hard to see from this graphic how we hold all the cards.

Proper English stoicism that, good to see the immigrant lady running the cafe has fully adapted to British Values. -
Britain's Next Top Prime Minister - Labour Leadership Election 2020.

Say it ain't so Soggy, you tick all my boxes but when in a hole, 'STOP digging', this post makes no sense. CB fair play: sniffer, poacher, fox in the box, low hanging fruit, shooting fish in a barrel, that bloke who clubbed a fox to death. When you've finished with all that stuff what's left? 'Professional m/board cynic' would look good on the back of a shirt. -

Any more spares? I have two, I could do with 1 more, meet outside on the day.

Presumably VVD will be in the top 27 too (and maybe Mane too?, not been following the series). Being that we were watching 2 or 3 of the top 30 'world players' at SMS only recently can the current crop be forgiven a little performance anxiety when playing at home?

The 'best' Sun front page ever. Spoiler, the tits are on page 11 and the Hamas special is on pages 12-13-14-15.

Has Nicholas Soames got hound or spaniel in his bloodlines?

Michael Oliver reviewing today, widely recognised as our best referee. Just maybe, VAR is actually ****e? Rather than removing cheating we now have more diving than ever.

Players and staff donate ONE DAYS Wages to Saints Foundation
sandwichsaint replied to Noodles34's topic in The Saints
Loved the Leic corner in the second half that went over/through everybody and their player, completely unmarked on the far corner of the 6 yd yard box, received it to feet with time to take it down and take a couple of touches before any of our defenders even realised what was happening. I actually LOL'ed at that one in real time. Don't have a problem with the donation, people need to move on a bit, it wouldn't matter if they gave a day, a week, or a month's pay, it's still infinitely more than most of us earn and some people would still moan. -
Havent seen it anywhere else. Thought Gary Neville showed real class not naming the youngsters. Made a generic comment about young players being found out and potentially having their whole careers altered on one game. Clearly referring to Valery and Gunn and possibly Bednarek too.

Positives? Hang on, I think I've found one; Memberships available, 'only' £35. Whoever scheduled that advert in the 89th minute, in front of rows of empty plastic, needs either a medal or a P45.

Dover in the National lge this season: Home W1 D3 L4 Away W6! D0 L1 ... 24 points and just outside the play-offs. Two more wins at home and they would be second. Have to agree on the Chapel thing too, can't believe it hasn't been tried (we've tried most things else!)

My great-grand-parents did their courting at the Dell (in the 1920's!) My parents are Warsash post-war I lived in Hamble/Netley from 1970-75 I've never known it as anything other than 'the floating bridge'. I've never heard 'Woolston Ferry' other than in this song. Did our family get it so very wrong?

Anybody watching Leeds West Brom? I pay for champs lge and i would rather watch this! Fantastic linesman decision rendering VAR redundant. Why can't all football be like this?
