Who else had Lambert tonight at 4-1 to score first
Murdock replied to dickyhale's topic in The Saints
Just spoke to my Chelsea supporting mate who had £50 on Ricky to score at same odds. Happy man today, owes me drink though as he wouldn't bother with saints otherwise... -

Nothing less than Lallana deserves by all accounts this evening. Bit of a scramble according Paul Walsh at Sky. -

Come on get in there. Starting to prove himself from day one, long may it continue. -
Looks like we now have someone who knows where the goal is. Loved the volley at about 2mins 30 secs in, dropping right downalmost vertical he certainly knows how to volley a ball that's for sure.

God you were lucky, took me twenty odd years to get out.... Oh and I hate this waiting around at least if its going to happen we may not be kept waiting for long..... Skacel anyone..

Can someone point me to the Wussy football fans support group. Watching that made me happy, sad, proud, angry and a host of others things I'd thought may not ever be possible to feel about Saints again just a wee while ago. So thanks to whomever made the video and posted it up. Now where's that hankie....

What's more scary, Tony Adams as manager or every one agreeing with each other on this board. For the record..........I'm in the, I!d rather have branfoot back camp. Please for the love god Andy NO!!!!!

I had a chelsea fan text me from his holidays in Madiera "welcome to the billionaire boys club, glad to hear your out of trouble".

But wouldn't a cheque of been more useful before we went into admin? However I do concede that he no doubt put money into the club and my comment should of been more directed to the other party perhaps?
-
We all know that ain't gonna happen, after all that would mean putting some money into the club. Now that's something they're alergic to....

Sorry mate but i think you maybe forgetting which league we're in. 2 years absolute minimum to get to the premier league. Given the expereince he has of the lower league's (2/3Years is it?), that gives him minimum 4 years as a professional manager. How much experience did David Moyes have when he took over at Everton, 4years or thereabouts I believe. As you could guess I've jumped off the fence and believe that a new manager like Tisdale is the way to go, and if I'm wrong and he doesn't 'make the grade' at least we'll know that, rather than debating the point. If the stories are to be believed his development as a manager is being closely watched by some, with more than just a passing fancy. Oldknow stated earlier today, i believe, that we will not be spending loads to fight this season, so why not take the 'risk' plenty of others have made it, Ferguson, Wenger, and so on, they all needed a break at some point. Lets, for a second, just look back at other attempts, Dodd, Gray, Wigley. Did anybosdy really think they would make it as manager's, no didn't think so. Tisdale is a guy that has at least proved some level of ability at a mangerial level, it just remains to be seen whether he is able to move on forward from where he is. Thanks (Murdock dons tin hat)....

Ok turning back to football topics for a bit. We all know that gaining a play off place would be perhaps the best we could hope for this season. So a few stats to prove that we could do just that: 2004/5 Luton 98pts Champions Hartlepool 71pts 6th place 27pts difference 2005/6 Southend 82pts Champions Swansea 71pts 6th place 11pts.... 2006/7 S****horpe 91pts Champions Oldham 75pts 6th Place 16pts.... 2007/8 Swansea 92pts champions Southend 76pts 6th place 2008/9 16pts... Leicester 96pts Champions S****horpe 76pts 6th place 20pts.... My point is that, even given that we start on minus 10 "if" we're good enough we'll be there or thereabouts come the end of the season. Oh yes I know lies, damn lies and statistics......

Not sure if this is anywhere else: http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/4475023.Businessmen_bid___12_5m_to_buy_Saints/ Posted up at 6 this morning. If you have a weak heart I suggest you don't read it. John Batchelor = Asset stripper

Sheeeeettt guess that answer my question then.

Wonder how much he made out of the deal to kit out St Marys. He's such a knut. Surely there's some kind of rule to stop him coming back, someone please tell me there is.

Actually free wifi is a little difiicult to find, ever since hardware started coming out with security enabled by default. I'm working on a few things right now which may help but you'll not see them till later this year if at all!!! In the meantime check here: http://www.myhotspots.co.uk/ or here: http://www.hotspot-locations.com/modules.php?name=HotSpots&op=hotspot_query&hsl_countryhs=2GB&hs_state=&hs_city=&hs_operator=&hsl_type=&hs_access_box=on&search=Search sorry can't be bothered to edit the link.

Lots of happier times on that link. It may seem a little odd to some but the ones that made me smile the most: Franny, speaks for itself. CMFG, once again speaks for itself. Claus, All the saints fans looking around all asking the same question, who scored? Cue Claus running back up the pitch with this massive grin on his face, funny as ****. Pahars, nutmeg...........lol. A few more but those stick out the most for me.
-
I would guess that having the pitch ready is only half the battle. Lets not forget tis quite a way to come from Sheffield, also consider the closures on the M25, M1 today, not to mention more snow due later. Or maybe the staff want to get the match played before Rupee gets back from his jolies..what wnaker.

Or how about "Clueless" sums it up for me.

Since when has it been a requirement to pass a fitness test. Agustin anyone....... As long as he can add some much needed resolve in the back line he'll do for me. I always was easily pleased.
