Sorry mate but i think you maybe forgetting which league we're in. 2 years absolute minimum to get to the premier league. Given the expereince he has of the lower league's (2/3Years is it?), that gives him minimum 4 years as a professional manager. How much experience did David Moyes have when he took over at Everton, 4years or thereabouts I believe. As you could guess I've jumped off the fence and believe that a new manager like Tisdale is the way to go, and if I'm wrong and he doesn't 'make the grade' at least we'll know that, rather than debating the point. If the stories are to be believed his development as a manager is being closely watched by some, with more than just a passing fancy. Oldknow stated earlier today, i believe, that we will not be spending loads to fight this season, so why not take the 'risk' plenty of others have made it, Ferguson, Wenger, and so on, they all needed a break at some point. Lets, for a second, just look back at other attempts, Dodd, Gray, Wigley. Did anybosdy really think they would make it as manager's, no didn't think so. Tisdale is a guy that has at least proved some level of ability at a mangerial level, it just remains to be seen whether he is able to move on forward from where he is. Ok turning back to football topics for a bit. We all know that gaining a play off place would be perhaps the best we could hope for this season.
