Its all in how the deal is made? As a prospective buyer of the club - if I knew my outgoings were based on performances with the option to buy the ground at a later date then it could make me spend more on the team.

But its not about the here and know is it? Its about the future of SFC and trying to prove to any prospective owners that we are worth more than a punt. **** the lot on the pitch - if they don't care - I know I do.

Totally agree with your sentiments Gemmel football was never about chairmen it was about what happened on the grass for 90 mins week in and week out. I for one am sick and tired of hearing the same 3 names being used especially as none of them has ever kicked a ball in anger.

Was told to put money on Bristol going into the Prem in 5-6 years about 3 years ago - when I asked why the response was that they had some good backers that loved football but were financially sound. Sounded to good to be true at the time!

The only one of the old guard I want near this club is Ted Bates but unfortuntley that will never happen (god rest his soul). Anyone noticed that since Ted went to the great dressing room in the sky that SFC's tails of woe have got bigger?
