Ill rather than injured - I would have thought he’d be back for the next match.

I think it’s a concern for most. We need to win without him and after the Leicester game I’m a little less concerned than I would have been 2-3 weeks ago.

And the good thing is the manager (interim) has worked with the young lad so would know his attributes better than most.

And it is about this time that (from too many years experience) something comes along and burst the big balloon of optimism. I’m hoping not just yet though as, like you, I’m enjoying watching this saints side.

I thought both of those second 45 minutes said a lot about the team as a whole. Very very professional saw the games out with minimum drama.
