  1. Bale is going to RM, 80m odd wont be turned down if player wants to leave Which leaves Spurs with a lot of money, and a need to appease the fans, so you'd think they buy at least Soldado if not 2 strikers
  2. Not really, we've played better when he's not been playing since January. He's behind Ramirez, Punch and Davis IMO and even Isgrove offers more
  3. They also say Spurs have knocked back 81m for Bale and Aliens have landed in Fareham
  4. Haha, that's comedy gold Bearsy
  5. Looks like the driver is at fault, refusing to answer questions, but aren't there failsafes on modern trains to stop over speed happening?
  6. From what i saw in the Schalke game he's already better than Fox, looked a really good prospect Was also impressed with Isgrove, he had real pace and not afraid to try and go by someone. Can see him challenging Lallana for a back up spot next year
  7. There's undoubtedly a domino type effect here, starting with the likes of Rooney, Suarez, Soldado etc. Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs need a striker and will likely sign someone by the end of the window. Real Madrid do as well with Higuain having gone. Depends who goes first and who's left Sadly we are at the bottom of the line so even if clubs agree fees the players/agents will likely want to wait, all these guys like Damiao, Osvaldo, Soldado etc will want CL football and you cant blame them for that
  8. This won't happen IMO until Spurs get a striker
  9. Haha, that's good
  10. Agree about Lovren and only his first game
  11. Wanyama and Lovren looked good IMO. As did Shaw, Punch and JRod Worryingly Lallana looks as ineffectual as he did at the end of last season, I wonder if he will play that much thus year if Ramirez kicks on as Punch, Davis and JRod offer us a lot more in the wide areas of that attacking midfield 3
  12. Why is Naughton going to want to come here and back up Clyne and Shaw? Unless we regularly rotate to rest Shaw?
  13. Touted as the next Zanetti but not sure where that would leave Clyne who is also a future star and was very good last year, his first in the PL Think I'd rather see the 8 or 10m he would cost spent somewhere else but I suppose it does give us 3 very good full backs which equals no Danny Fox which equals very good news
  14. peach saying on twitter we are interested in a versatile right back who will seriously challenge Clyne Any guesses ?
  15. If the royal baby was an Aussie, it'd be out by now :-)
  16. Agree GS, as we are now i'd think somewhere between 11th-14th
  17. Told you
  18. This one has gone quiet, wonder if he is deciding or waiting for any other offers?
  19. That's good for Villa, they've had a good off season, will be a lot better next year I'd think
  20. Expect us to declare with a lead of 600, just about be enough for Cook!
  21. This is Flower and Cook. More conservative than Maggie Thatchet
  22. Anyone else feel a bit sorry. Not for the Aussies but for this as a contest
  23. Love these last wicket thrashes, could they squeak up to 400 here?
  24. Banega is a far, far better player than Ramirez, with experience in the CL and of playing multiple positions. He would have no trouble playing 90 mins in the PL week in, week out. If he is mentally up for it is another matter
