I think if we go down with out the 10 points coming off this season then we have more chance of winning the appeal and starting on zero next year. However if we stay up and then they take the 10 points off us we don't have much chance of winning an appeal as it would open a can of worms for the teams around us. So in mu opinion we will start next year at zero either way. Just my opinion.
Will not go under, IMO, I think we have to much to offer, even as a league 1 club. We are a bargain for someone who wants the status of a football team.
I think he is the only player who can make anything. Even today when he held off the wolves defender it looked good. I don't think anyone else in our squad could have done it. He is head and shoulders above the rest of the squad. From a footballing point of view his touch and runs are very good. In a good team he will do very well.
I think that could be a possibility if they go down and Ashley does not give them much money and we get a rich new owner. So now I have written that down it looks a little more silly than it sounded in my head...
Why should he put £500,000 in only to see another group of people reap the rewards of this. I would love him too but can't see it. I believe we will be saved as we are a bargain, however I do remember Aldershot going down the pan many years ago.
I think the only way we were going to be taken over is if we went into admin. It will be better in the long run as we are now a bargain, especially if we stay up. I don't think the pain is over yet but we will hit rock bottom soon and then the only way is up.
