IMO he is one of our better players and sometimes is too good for us. For example he will play a ball where people should be but he looks silly as our players can't read it. The guys in the row in front of me thought he is very poor and still are not fans. If AL is not in the team he is one of the few who can make things happen. I agree he is not the best away but he is from Brazil and has got better at chasing back.

Lets not get above our station yet! We do have money but it is always a business. By your theory no price would get him. Every player has his price especially if he wants to go. If we do keep him for another year his price won't go up (unless we sale him in jan) due to his contract terms. If we got good money for him and invested it well it would be a good move. I think he is great and will prob be better than be Walcott as he seems to have a better football head but he has a long way to go. Lets not get in the Man City head set that we can keep or buy who we want. We are a long way from there. My caveat is I would love him to stay if invested in more players aswell.

I agree with you. But some people are saying we don't need to flog him because we are 'rich', thats not the reason. the reason should be he is good for the team.

IMO I think he will go. I think he will want to go as youngsters want things quickly and maybe who can blame them. Everyone is saying keep him but that is also a gamble as he has only done it for 1 season in Div 3 and could (I don't think he will) flop this year and only be worth a fraction of today's fee. I would flog him for as close to 10m as possible with a loan back option. He is not as important to the team as AL. I think some people are wanting to keep him just becaue we are in the position to do so, is that the right reason? I would love him to stay but it's not the end of the world if he goes.

To be fair he is not as good as most of the guys who made the cut. If he was 19 then everyone would be talking about him. He is our most important player by a mile, loads more important than chambo. But he is set to be at a big club before he is 18/9, but who can blame him?

I think it is more to make sure they don't suffer from moving every couple of years. For example if they are forced to move to an area that a school is full the law makes sure they are entitled to a place in the school. As the theory is they have no choice where they are sent. This is just a small example, I can't see it helping many but it gives the government good pr!

Iwould almost agree but I would start Guly. I think bring on Forte on as an impact player. I think Guly is a very good player and would look better in a higher league. He often plays passes into space where players should be (but looks silly as we don't have a player there) but he ends up lookng silly as we don't.
