Forster is out for the season so irrelevant - why does it have to be a top quality international keeper to be better than a 39 year old who hasn't played in months and a 24 year old that no-one trusts ? Again if the club state that the ambition is to be top 6 wouldn't it be best to have a squad of players that are up to that level? Why do we want keepers that are happy to be sat on the bench are we recruiting players that don't want to fight for places? That probably is true watching our midfield on Saturday who showed no fight, spirit or bottle at all - I watched them with 20minutes to go and they all had heads down and not one had sleeves rolled up and screaming at colleagues - no leaders at all.

If we had won on Saturday we would have been! Its what the club has stated as our ambition so why isn't it relevant?

Not sure why you coach a keeper not to catch a ball in the 6 yard box - both goals Man City and Sunderland were both less than 3 yards out and he just stood and watched. Caulker didnt help against Sunderland but it was keepers ball and he is the only one who is allowed to use his hands! Thats surely down to poor goalkeeping? Absolutely baffled why he got another 4 year contract.

TBF the goalkeeper should come and catch a ball in the 6 yard area anyway. Caulker didn't look as though he wanted to be there or exactly put himself about compared to others that are on fringes in past. Hesketh was the only one looking decent up front but needs to get on the protein shakes quickly or will fade away. Unusually poor from Seagar and McQueen.

So you expect Gaston to start even though he wasn't on the bench against Swansea - not sure that will happen! I don't for one minute expect him to be starting anytime soon unless injuries to Davis/JWP/Romeu/Big Vic/Tadic. Gambling on Gaston to flit in and out of games especially at Stamford Bridge is not such good tactics
