  1. Fair enough but point is we didn't score and just maybe having a box poacher could have helped. Pelle may be back Wednesday so will strengthen us a bit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. My problem is that we are not giving the ones we need to in areas we have issues in - as I have said before I am not totally convinced by Seager BUT he is different from any other striker we have. Its irrelevant now anyway as he wont get a game with us in this situation but the FA Cup was a great chance to test that. Why bring on JWP whose contribution has been what in that many games? Or was the plan to just rely on his corner/free kick delivery - thats not worked out too well so far.
  3. Rubbish....what doesn't make sense is not giving them ANY game time when you have lost 9 out of 11 and your main strikers are injured or p1ssing you off! Why a sustained run? you will see very quickly whether they can cope - Reed certainly did.
  4. Great post and thats my big problem - it's ok saying they are no good but how will he know until game time shows to back this up? Reed has shown enough in the past - Seagar is an in the box striker - we don't have one of those so maybe something different may work.
  5. I am unsure as well but with inuries to Pelle and Rodriguez we have to utilise what we have and it wouldn't have hurt giving him a 20-30 minute run out. I still would have liked Reed given a game just to keep Clasie fresh for Watford.
  6. We have 3 important games this week - do you think we will be able to cope with Long/Mane playing nearly all 3? Plus Davis/JWP could we have not given Seager at least 30 minutes to give them a rest what was the harm in that?
  7. He is injured and they won't sell him yet according to my ITK Chelsea mate Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Reading those posts I can't see the club giving Ron any money to spend!! We certainly have seen a swing away from the transfer committee so championed before. Can maybe see a last minute panic from overseas but nothing more. Hope I am wrong. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Central defender confident on ball reads danger well. Made great goal line clearance. Can bring it out if defence as well as put foot through it when needed to Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Yep was great snuffing out their best player Palmer. Anyone who thought he had a bad game must be blind!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Reed having his best game of season Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Maybe Gallagher will join Isgrove at Barnsley? Alan Nixon ‏@reluctantnicko 3m3 minutes ago Barnsley. Close to loan deal for very promising young Prem striker. May even make paper.
  13. I think I heard dear old Adam has scored 1 goal in 28 games? Cost more than 12m as well :-)
  14. Are you saying Howe did well at Burnley then?....not sure I agree with that. Monk did well at Swansea and yes its a contradiction and why I would like to see what he does in the future elsewhere first but longer term maybe here as he fits. Do you think a championship manager would be able to manage the expectations/ambitions some of our stars like VVD, Pelle, Tadic or Bertand? Hopefully Koeman may sign again and all this is irrelevant for a while yet.
  15. Can't see why people go for Howe - he fits Bournemouth but failed miserably at Burnley. Some managers just fit at clubs like Redkrapp down the road and Howe does at Bournemouth and why would he leave them now? Multi million owner bankrolling him. Rodgers.....spawn of the devil Monk showed some good qualities at Swansea but would like to see him at another club first. I like Mark Warburton and the way he held Brentford together in spite of the chairman. Not sure he will leave Rangers though.
  16. Who says I have - its when he is injured, off form, knackered etc Martina is not the answer plus I am not 100% he can cope with the Premiership. Maybe we will give Stephens a go.
  17. Agree with those but to ensure we finish and get points we need a right back and a pacey goal scoring striker like Remy. If we had a right back we would have at least 4 points more. Shelvey although a prize twunt is exactly what we need in our middle. He can tackle, pass well, create and score goals we do not have anyone capable of shooting like him. I don't believe we will go for him as we have enough rocking the boat but I like him as a player.
  18. You don't think we need a right back?
  19. That's fair enough but then on the other side of coin is people like you that no matter what they only see through rose coloured specs and refuse to believe that anything could ever be wrong. We have lost 7 out of 9 - players are wandering about the pitch don't give a **** yet still play 90 minutes. Some player's despite showing promise hardly get picked. The manager has publicly stated there is an attitude and discipline issue yet that's his job to fix and he doesn't seem to have done this so far. None of us want anything bad said about our club but sometimes when things are wrong forums like this are a good place to vent and air it. So I take it I can't include you on one of the pitchforks from the Bargate march?
  20. Why do we need to watch him.....he plays ...occasionally in the same league as us! Our goalkeeping coach watches him play for the national side - if we don't know by now what he can and can't do then we are in worse shape than I thought transfer wise. Been ranting about Shelvey for ages on here - so he may not fit our profile so thats worked out well lately. We need a niggly bastard or two to spice up our easy middle.
  21. Windows as our French player expert Chieke N'Doye?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Koeman said last week he wants to keep Caulker for the season - he must see something we don't then!
  23. I think I am just a bit bemused by Koeman's treatment of him compared to Romeu and even Reed. I don't think it would be too hard to replace Wanyama and thats maybe why I want him replaced - at least try and find a midfielder who can score - currently we don't have one and the Wanyama money can help that. Mane has worked his nuts off every game and at least performed whereas Wanyama Arsenal apart has been awful yet plays 90 minutes.
  24. I agree with that but I am blaming Koeman - why does Wanyama play 90 minutes regardless of how crap he is ? After the Spurs game he shouldn't have been picked again this season and sold to highest bidder. Wanyama should have been subbed straight after the first booking let alone after the next warning.
  25. Feed the troll.... So how will going out of the cup help us in the league? Did you learn nothing from Pardew and the JPT? Don't bother answering that I know you didn't!! Did you enjoy Tetteys goal? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
