  1. Yep agreed about Austin maybe with Bertrand and Cedric supplying better service we will get more out of him. At moment it's all about Puel experimenting and learning what he has. Tie a 18 yard chain round his ankle to post :-) Defensive shape looked good and Sjoberg read it well good feet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Be interesting to see Long Tadic Redmond front 3. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Yep thought Sjoberg looked decent, full backs push higher up. Press higher , Tadic looks creative, JRod looks fitter, Virgil looks on different planet. One small negative was last 3rd gave away cheaply in good positions but early days Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. It's a pre season fitness game with mainly u23s what do you expect Barca ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Level above Romeu haha yeah ok if you think Romeu is that bad think won't bother Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. You think we could have kept Pelle and stop him earning 260k a week??.....don't think I agree with you on that. Mane will be missed as he was so unpredictable but 5 months without scoring and 12 goals last season 8 in last 8 games, we need to replace that same as nearly everyone else thinks really.
  7. That would be the Wanyama that trashed our Euro campaign - got sent off 3 times - played when bothered last season? His performance at home to Spurs was one of the worst I have seen in years he just couldnt be arsed to get near Dembele. Romeu was ridiculously dropped by Koeman several times for Wanyama and think will be a very adequate replacement alongside JP
  8. So you don't think McCarthy working under Watson will improve? If you think McCarthy is worse than Gazza you havent watched many u21 games this year. Gazza needs game time away from here.
  9. I hope so I could do with a cheaper ST in the Championship again......
  10. When he could be bothered which last season was about 6 games
  11. Can't believe the above leaves out Romeu who was harshly treated by Koeman . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. So you think Forster, Cedric, Fonte,VVD,Bertrand, Romeu, Clasie Davis and our new guy are so poor we are worse than 3 new sides + WBA,Sunderland, Swansea and Watford? I reckon -1.5 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. My memory of that night was Nicholl battering into Shearer who then scored showed had ability to take a challenge. Although Maddison looked the better player injury robbed him of a better career. Mills was a brilliant full back he looked so ill that night. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. There have been good reasons posted you just choose to ignore them. We all want him to succeed just some are concerned over his lack of working outside of France. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Am in Portugal on hols and it's only Ronaldinho they see. Watched in hotel bar and made sure they saw how good Jose and Cedric were last night ;-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. We sold him this morning.....
  17. West Ham fan and comedian
  18. TBH does it really matter if they are blowing this up? No-one apart from Saints fans are watching it anyway unless sad muppets. Its a bit of publicity and fun for our new partnership with UA. Relax
  19. Harlem I like good pacey forward, keepers are good - kick well. Midfielder Harry is the one I think will progress the most. Jay full back has ability played up a year too. Just my opinion but a good batch
  20. Didn't he say it's not Southampton already? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Seen this lot a few times and some very good prospects Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Forren , Mayuka, Ramirez, Osvaldo and the long loan of Taider proves not everyone gets it right. All those players Puel bought when I watched were decent players and can see why he bought them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I love him already.....On 20 October, after coming on as a 42nd-minute substitute for the injured Brazilian Cris, Gonalons scored his first professional goal against Liverpool at Anfield
  24. More enthusiastic than I would have been if it had been Sherwood, Warnock, Chris Powell and that cockwomble Brendan Rodgers
