That worked wonders on Gaston and Osvaldo didn't it....we have strengthened weak positions in the squad - now I would like us to get a good striker/creative player to strengthen the first 11 - problem is so does everyone else.

From what I have seen the front 3 will be flexible to interchange - the problem some have jumped to IMO is that they think Redmond will be the main striker - he wont it will be one of the 3 like an old inside forward but also pressing high up. Just from pre-season games watched on YouTube you get a better idea watching live so hope to see this in next 2 friendlies.

Why because its such a stupid statement....VVD, Forster, Mane and Bertrand were as much of a reason. As for not being his biggest fan - you didn't rate Koeman or the team much last season either going by your posts so Puel doesn't have much to do to beat him does he prepared or not. I have not seen a post that states we don't need to replace Mane - I have seen several to say its being worked on, if a club are loathe to sell then not much we can do. Some players don't want to move south - some may not want to work for Puel who knows but I would bet we have one before the window closes.

What are his weaknesses? positioning? Obviously you have seen him enough times to state that so can you enlighten me as I have never seen him play

Well all we can do is trust our goalkeeping coach as it seems he had a big hand in his recruitment. Gazza never ever gave me confidence after some poor mistakes and looked a scared rabbit at times. This suits all parties as Gazza hopefully gets games away from here and we get a decent backup keeper who Watson feels can improve. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
