I have watched them a few times now and never been impressed with Stephens and Turnbull as a pairing - play far too far apart massive gaps between them. Turnbull looks more of a marauding midfielder than a centre half. Cropper gets beaten too easily and can see why released from a few clubs previously. Reed the pick of them for me.

The majority ogf our squad were signed in the Championship - how many fringe players will go for any sort of money? To sell we have to have a buyer and when less than 34% of the Premiership are English and foreign imports are available cheatper and less wages where on earth do you expect us to sell them to? Just to add... a lady who works for me her husband has just been sacked because the boss didn't like him. He has an outstanding record, had great reviews from customers, got sales bonus etc but his lady boss took a dislike and sacked him. He has been to lawyer and threatened industrial tribunals and was told to accept the latest which is a redundancy package because only 10% of unfair dismissals ever 'win'. No union.

Worrying that his form has dipped at the wrong time though, should of been in ages ago. He was the difference on Saturday - had he stayed even 5-6 overs we would of won. Losing Carberry, Vince, Adams and McKenzie for very little was rare and cost us - Dimi also had a shocker. I agree to some extent about youth and academy but Griffiths has bowled twice as well as Tanvir and fielded far better...well my dead grannie could of as well as she is faster than him. Think Griffiths will be off in the summer - shame as he has promise. Is the problem with overseas money? Losing Cork and Afridi should of set alarm bells and looking earlier as to me it was obvious we were 1 quality bowler short.

Hands up time - never thought we would get him after the Damiano deal went tits up and things I heard but how far have we come from Trotman and Mellis the same time just a few years ago. Also puts to bed my fears that no players had followed Pochettino...well done Nicola. Now lets hope he enjoys his time at this great club.

We threw 3 wickets away with poor shots, what were Dawson and Wheater doing trying to play reverse sweeps when we had lost 4 wickets cheaply? Ervine was going well give him the strike but oh no they had to try and play stupid shots. Dimi running out Woods was the end of us really. How can an international bowler bowl soooo many wides...Tanvir was awful. Wheater is a shocking wicketkeeper! We need a main strike bowler next season and a decent overseas player not just a chance but proven overhere.

As I have seen very little of Osvaldo I can't really answer that - just looking at whole package - number of clubs each has had, incidents, wages. Its not just Bony though I think we could of gone for other targets as well. TBH I made a bit of a cock up with Osvaldo and the not wanting to come here as along with that twitter I thought it was him that made the ambitious club statement but checked again and that was Damiao.
