Please don't embarrass us with any more clown costumes
Give it to Ron replied to dune's topic in The Saints
Can you name me clubs that don't get laughed at...go on say Millwall you know you want to! Remember the fat bird giving it large or the **** in the pink jumper the other year? Every club has there share of them its just that the majority apart from your little club can't see that. -
Dune, Turkish and Sour Mush are going dressed as Oompa Loompas
-
So why didnt they get a 0% credit card and pay that off and get a number of games free?? Thats nuts doing it the other way!
-
Whats wrong with it....are you in the Turkish, Sour Mush, Dune gang as well..... I havent bought a shirt for years and only did because I got one in a concourse sale to wear at the gym for a £5 but I am not insecure enough to worry if people do want to wear them wherever.
-
I hope no-one over the age of 12 buys one..we will have more posts on England fans forums about us...how will I sleep?
-
I forget which board or thread it was on but someone said Southampton are great lovers....we like to come second.....

The 'How many times have you cried today?' thread
Give it to Ron replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
Didnt cry but just reading the Markus thread has bought a lump to my throat and the only downer on a fantastic day. To read again the tributes at the funeral and 2 stories...well....Thanks Markus and hope you were looking down today that was all for you. -

Some dickhead tried that last season near where I sit he kept shouting and swearing about plastics and where was everyone all season! Where we sit 99% of us are and had been all year yet this was his first game sat there..he didnt last long as just as everyone nearby reached boiling point especially one 6ft 4 brick ****house was grabbing him by the scruff of the neck a steward appeared and booted him out - his mate shuffled off too. I just don't give a rats arse how many are in the stadium, whether they have been to one game or twenty. How does that affect anyone? Apart from bigger drinks queues and toilets? I go to watch the team not the crowd which is also why I couldn't give a toss what someone wears to a game - if they want to dress like Morph so be it - if they want to look like a dummy in Urban Outfitter so what. I preferred it when there was only 17-18k in league one at least i could get served.

I have loads of bum twitching games this week, my lads Saturday side need to win at least 2 of their 3 games to win their league this week, Saints on Saturday and then my lads Tyro cup final at Totton on Sunday. Loo rolls are in the fridge.

We used to spend our holidays at West Sands when I was in my teens ..long time ago now. It was twinned with two other sites White Horse and Green Lawns? The entertainment was really good. As others have said its close so you can just nip down quickly if you want to - even get away from the wife! I was going to mention the flooding issue but see thats been covered.

The window may well open on June 9th but how many clubs will want to pay his wages over the summer? Not that many deals are done early unless they are well sought after players...would TBH come into that category...unlikely.
-
Oh dear....no matter what you post you get wrong...no matter how hard you want it to be true its not going to happen! The 11.5m....the next day we sold Chamberlain for 12m and that wasn't included in this figure! The 93% wages....you forgot to mention the bit after that in the statement that our revenue had increased significantly since then and now a lot lower. You are one sad, bitter obsessed Skate...don't stop posting you cheer me up just seeing you rant and rage through gritted teeth...you wish you were n our position don't you...go on admit it gnash..gnaw...

I was a Guly fan up to the Portsmouth game, he has the body language of being too laid back and uncaring. If he does that on Saturday in a 100% wound up fanbase he will get slaughtered by some of our less understanding lot. De Ridder show flashes of ability but thats just all it is and very little end product - the one thing he does though is give us an outlet and can keep the ball.
-
Exactly why choose Puncheon who hasn't even made the bench in recent weeks over De Ridder and Guly not exactly match fit in such a crucial game.

If we get promoted will we have bus tour around city?
Give it to Ron replied to Roger's topic in The Saints
No the last time we went up to the Premier league we didn't have one then and don't want us to have one now its a stupid idea. -

No we didnt last time so why should we now? -
Kevin Keegan Mick Mills

Yes I regularly take an assortment of programmes dating back to the 60's to browse through....then imagine what those players in the pictures would do in the same situation as the game is in at that time. Well you started it
-
Not quite.....the first bit sounds like we should sell..I am saying as is the case if we have no option but to sell as you can't force them to stay. The vision isn't new at all but the way hopefully it will be implemented here will be. In the article it mentions 7 or 8 players from Barca academy...supplemented by others thats what I thnk our vision is as well. That will take time and may be several years to get that number in but it can be done.
-
Name me a club that hasnt lost a youth team player at some time or other to a bigger club? The point is we are going to try that, this isn't new, it was Marcus's vision here I was told this a couple of years ago by the dad of one of our academy lads who met him.
-
I am sure he has loved playing understudy to Cole, spent nearly a year honing his golf handicap, did you miss the bit where I said am sure he has loved having the money to lavish on his bird? I only played Hampshire league standard and miss playing every day now I am old git....are you saying he wont have any regrets about his career? I am sure he never regrets leaving Saints the point was he went to a club for the money not to enhance his career being a bench man.
-
For every Walcott there is a Wayne Bridge...what a waste of a career - although am sure he loves spending the dosh on his fit girlfriend in 15 years time when he looks back am sure he will of loved his time at City.
-
So....we use that money wisely to invest in the cream thats left like the Lamberts, Fonte, Sharps to supplement the youngsters we can keep......have you learnt nothing from the debacle down the road? No academy etc and no assets. Lowe tried this but wasted the money on 10 managers and coaches and pay offs in those 10 years.
