With all respect do those 12 young men collapse in front of millions of people? Muamba was lucky he was actually very close to one of the best hospitals. I am also giving my prayers for the 6 young lads killed in Afghanistan and their families today but thats just the way I am if that offends ....
-
This answers your question I think - the fact that they can visually see people - and accept maybe not all for the right reasons- have taken time to show they care and it gives them comfort. Shauna Muamba @ShaunaMuambaAll your prayers are working people thank u so so much. Every prayer makes him stronger. To God be the glory.

Its not just footballers either but here are some more that will be of interest: Paul Hayward @_PaulHayward If Fabrice Muamba comes through how about donating all proceeds from the rest of the FA Cup to NHS units in honour of the country's medics. Paul Hayward @_PaulHayward Donate FA Cup proceeds either way, of course (Fabrice Muamba). The NHS needs/deserves all the support it can get. Paul Hayward @_PaulHayward Lots of people pointing out on here it would help public services if all clubs paid their tax. Saturdays event has had a positive impact as well - highlighted how great our doctors and medics are...also I saw high praise today for the way Howard Webb conducted himself .
-
A quick solution to that is to unfollow those footballers on twitter then - simple really and you won't feel so aggrieved by them doing so.
-
Jack the point I was trying to make...and very badly was that in yours and DD line of work you do expect to see that, DD even said he had....I don't think footballers do and nor do fans who watch games hence the outpouring of messages of prayer and comfort. Of course you are affected by what you have seen you would be inhuman if you weren't just that this happened in front of millions hence the high numbers of messages that a few think are OTT.

It was aggressive because thats what you were looking for a reaction. As I said you are conditioned to this in your job, I respect you for that, my niece husband is in Afghan on tour and 2 weeks from finishing his tour and he has had friends die ou there too so am aware of what this does. Its part of your job its not part of a footballers. This thankfully is a very rare occurance and the shock of seeing it happen is the reason for the reaction. Of course worse things happen every day but not on a football pitch in front of thousands on tv and millions watching

Oh FFS why is there always one attention grabbing twunt on here that posts that sh1te?? Its not OTT if thats what people want to do whats wrong with them doing it you don't have to join in or listen or like it. WTF has it got to do with you if Bolton don't want to play because a fellow team mate and friend collapsed and was getting his heart pumped in front of them? You may be conditioned to this in your job but a footballer worst is perhaps compound fracture not defibulators and doctors pumping chest of a 23year old team mate. Its not going to impact you in anyway so why cant you show some compassion and tolerance and not play the hard man male ego trip.

Think it will be Guly and Lambert up front - Sharp on the bench still.

I think we should all dress up as Physio's in honour of Nige. Perhaps we could also get some of our perfect supporters to arrange to have song sheets with those songs fans are allowed to sing put on the seats at Boro?

You don't pay ticket tax on here ;-)

Did you see our first goal against Watford? I hope the keeper has the same blinder that Watfords had..literally

I loved Waigo...and would have him back in an instant - he was so unpredictable even he didn't know what he was doing and most of it was instinct! He was far more intelligant than people gave him credit for - remember MK Dons at home with him left midfield and he had a great game. Waigo wasn't black...he was green...very green when it came to offsides
-
There is also a 3rd group that I am in and base it on how well he plays - I can see his value in his selection and if you take his second half performance on Saturday why he has his uses to the team. Personally I think he is not the best option at the moment and my midfield would be Chaplow Cork Morgan and Lallana, on Saturday Guly didnt have many options as Richardson was well marked and having 2 defensive midfielders alongside him gave him very little outlet. I had several heated discussions on Saturday with a few around me who slagged him off yet when one of the others did they applauded and said bad luck. Yet never applauded him when he did something right. Its not a racist thing - its because he doesnt run around like a headless chicken ala Brett Ormerod.

Those marks are spot on IMO and well summed up as usual
-
Spot on I lost count first half where Guly and Lallana pulled off the defenders into oceans of space - Lee was making darting runs and Hammond,Fonte, Jos, Richardson and Morgan took so long we lost the space and were shut down. The diamond improved us but it wasnt until Cork came on we started to move and up the tempo. Morgan improved and ran the show after the first 25 and a toss up between him and Fox for my MOM.

I missed that but having been through senior school with him had a few other examples of that! Heard a few rumours lately about him and the US not sure if true. Shame was he was really clever and intelligent. -
You could be me.... 53 live in Rownhams 1st away. Jan66. 5-2 win at Farton Park. Norman Dean hat-trick. Addicted since looking through the turnstiles at Milton Road where my auntie lived and saw the game going on that my dad and uncle were at in about 64.

Yep certainly know a few on there - the lad with the black hat was in my class at Redbridge was a well known lad. Certainly felt the weight of his fists a few times at senior school. Also the lad Kev C who sat on the penalty spot was a few years older than me and well know around Millbrook. Terrible game, herded like cattle from the station and back and we were rubbish - Bristol put up a fair fight that day. -
Ok so you want to carry this on...wtf difference does it make who sings and where really? you were the one that bought up about only the Northam really sings so sounds like you are the one doing the crying. Why did I get involved in this...just it makes me slightly annoyed at the way some fans label certain areas of the ground and think they are better because they stand and sing in the Northam ...something some of us did years ago at The Dell and in fact at times still do. Regardless of my age and your wrong again there but why should I be surprised as you got nearly everything else wrong on this thread.
