Goalkeepers are paid to save shots and stop crosses - Kelvin has failed to do that recently so he can't say he has been harshly treated.

I would rather spend money on Friedel than Butland who is no better than Gazza - yes I know he has just signed a new contract but I would tempt Spurs with a decent offer. I have said it before but Boruc has the campest walk of any footballer ever.

Some great performances mentioned above - Morgan, Yoshida, Cork but I also thought Steve Davis had his best game for us he was buzzing around everywhere breaking up play passing it to our players always available. Morgan and Davis were tremendous pairing and I was worried it was a mistake moving out Cork so well done Nige.

Goalkeeping errors for me....we would be over 20 points and well on the way to safety by now.

Neither would of coped against John McGrath. Jaidi is such a miss for us he was my type of centre half after years of namby pamby ones we finally got someone who had that zone that you entered at your own risk.

Actually to be pedantic it was 3-2 against 10 men as Nzonzi was sent off after Kelvin let in the 2nd.

Having watched both Butland for Team GB and Gazza this season there is not much difference! Butlands kicking is abysmal as well and another rookie keeper is not what we need now.

What if one of them gets injured or sent off...are you happy with Jos or Seaborne?

Saints policy at younger levels is correct breed good, comfortable ball playing and lads with potential. Its done us well so far and without it we would of been in the same state as the Skates.

Having watched a few academy games lately its still the same - all technically very gifted, good ball players and comfortable but struggle against the London teams that have bigger black , strong and pacey lads.

Really sad news, when I was a lad he used to come up to Shirley Warren Club with Tony Byrne who was dating a girl called Sandra there. I had broken my arm playing footie and they both happily signed my cast and were great blokes. RIP Ken a good full back and a gentleman.

The formation looked awful at the start and we looked clueless as to who was meant to be doing what. It took us about 25 minutes to get going...although Cork had a decent shot after 19...our first attempt. Ricky cannot play upfront on his own in this league, we do not have anyone that has the mentality or game to run beyond him as different type of midfieders. Poor goal to give away and it was Luke Shaw v Fulham for long periods of the first half. Second half we clicked on but again no cutting edge or overplaying it - thought we were so on top we needed JayRods movement after 60 minutes and left that far too late its OK winning midfield but if you dont have anyone up front whats the point. A point was well deserved but Fulham were there for the taking and with a bit more imagination from Nige I think we could of won this.

Now your second bit I totally agree with ....but then again I don't get the weird obsession with FM either.
