He is like Jay a victim of the transfer fee paid - our summer transfer policy was abysmal and ignored the main areas we needed strengthening in. We spent a lot of money on these 2 and although both have shown flashes of being good we haven't got the return the price we paid for them we should have done. Its not their fault how much we paid or the value clubs, agents put on them but Gaston's performance yesterday was abysmal.

Ok fair enough it was just comments like "Not a Prem player"....I think De Ridder struggles at times to be a CC player but at least when he came on he held onto the ball for a second or two and Puncheon being subbed meant we didnt have anyone else to do that. Jos and Yoshida did Ok and TBH Villa are so poor in front of goal we got away with a few clumsy clearances but football balances itself out. Swansea never looked like scoring, Norwich were crap and Arsenal were abysmal yet we got one point yet defended pretty well apart from the odd error. Today we got 3 but looked a bit dodgy ce la vie......to also balance we were denied a blatant penalty for Lallana at WBA that may have got us back in the game. 2 wrongs dont make a right but 3 points is ok for me tonight.

Totally agree and its a bugbear of mine the way the councils in Soton allowed our city to become a lifeless soulless place that it is. I have posted it before but we should do what Cardiff have done at Cardiff Bay.....its possible but no we are more interested in blocks of flats and student living dumps.
