Is there not huge pressure already then??? Certainly certain posters keep saying there is everytime we sign or are rumoured to be signing!!!! Do you think the plan is to stay here in thos **** league? Did Pardew yesterday not state that the aim was play-offs?
-
Disagree are you saying Leeds are not ??? Years of mismanagement, poor transfers, bad luck with injuries, boards in turmoil can relegate any club no matter how big. For what its worth I never see us as a big club we are just an average size club that got relegated and made one shocking decision after another.
-
I wonder if he could make use of a ball winning midfielder with a record of very few games so must be fit ;-).

Another 'big' signing, according to JackanorySFC

Neither...... by the way..it states is set to reject,, doesn't mean he has or will if we up the offer! Never believe everything you read in the papers. -
They were saying this on TV last night....one school opened but had hardly any pupils - the LEA stated that all those that didn't attend were truant which buggers up the schools stats and league tables and get them in trouble with the government etc. Is it any wonder Headteachers are playing it safe!

I sort of agree with what you are saying but Geneva and other countries have far worse snow and far more regularly than we do. I am sure they have far more need for snow ploughs than we do for instance. Why would a council thats already financially in ruins as many are buy something like that to use once every five years or so. The councils should be geared up with more salt and grit but again many only stock just enough and its your council bill that will rise to change this. Its a different world to when I was at school...I remember us being off school for snow though - nowadays its the worry of being sued. I read that if you clear your drive and someone slips you are liable ...if you leave it you are not.

Did you go to work today? Not all teachers and staff live right next to school and have to travel in a fair way so why put there safety at risk just because you are p1ssed off looking after your kids? My nipper has to catch a school bus - the school and bus company have deemed it unsafe to run so why should I put his life and mine at risk taking him to school that will also be dangerous to walk on pavements near the school? Where do kids go .....on the computer doing their homework .

Post 87 on this thread could be a clue as to why.

I had some freebies last night at the Odeon ....good film excellently portrayed by Serkis. Certainly a troubled childhood that caused him issues in later life - came across as a bit of a b8stard and could never be accused of being a family man! Worth watching just for the acting.

A few mediocre players?? Leagues top goalscorer in Lambert Connolly who has scored some great goals since being here. Jaidi who has been a rock at the back stoping us being a soft touch at set pieces. Hammond who has added some strenth and steel in midfield now captain. Harding who has been brilliant at left back. Papa without who we would not be in the Southern final - has also added pace and goals up front. I hope we get some more of that mediocrity in this window!!! Gillet has gone stale here and needs a fresh challenge - in every game I have seen him play this season he has looked off the pace and struggling. He was abysmal against Torquay and rightly substituted at half time.

Do you know local pickups in Southam[pton?

Why Markus Liebherr should buy Portsmouth Football Club

Adopt the best fans in the world complete with trumpet and drum and also matchday fashionable dress sense. -
Or Strachan getting Coventry relegated? All managers go through bad times its how they deal with it that counts. I agree with DD had we had a manager that wanted to be here and interested in the team then we would of automatically gone up with the players we had. I will never forget Watford at home 2-0 down with 2 subs to use and he brings them on in injury time!

You can get £400 scrappage allowance ;-)
-
So over 87% at the moment still want a Portsmouh of some kind to exist and you think thats a vocal minority...I can see why you support the Skates.
-
Very selective over the posts....many have said we do not want to see you go out of existence but a good dose of reality and relegation down a few leagues will do for me! The difference having Liebherr is we are totally debt free ;-) we have a stadium and an infrastructure that is Premiership class whereas you have a complete ****hole we just got lucky heh!

Has LifelongCherrySkate started a rescue package yet? Do they even use photocopiers in Cosham?

Bad: Health - although minor problems its been horrible - 2 knee ops including partial replacement. Dislocated disc, physio then scrunched all the ligaments, muscles and tendons in my hip. I have spent all Christmas in bed with swine flu. Saints getting relegated, -10 points and the Pinnacle fiasco. Good: Liebherr and Cortese saving Saints and appointing a decent manager for a change. My daughter doing brilliantly in her GCSE's, nipper continuing to do well at football at school and for his team. Still with the woman I met and married 28 years ago.

SMS has at times been as good as the Dell and its a fallacy to state otherwise. Its just there have not been that many to think of! I know a few Nowich fans who reckon they have never ever heard a goal louder cheered than Camaras winner against them. Wolves quarter final at SMS was awesome with the whole stadium rocking. Portsmouth 3-0 on Dec 21st 2003 was amazing. Recently the JPT Norwich game had fantastic sound ....at times mainly at the end. SMS can be very atmospheric as witnessed recently with the slow OWTSGMI its just we havent had much to cheer about!

Judas Redknapp will come and save them.....he already said he would and he never breaks his word.

Has anyone used these, are they effective, easy to set up etc? We tend to stay in hotels that charge silly prices £15 an hour so was thinking of getting one for these stays and when we visist MIL. O2 doing them for £15 at the moment.
