Too bloody right...I played against him at schoold for Redbridge v Weston Park and he was the toughest player I have ever faced. Battered and bruised us!

Saints fans will be updated in next 24 hours by Mark Fry who is now more optimistic than last week of a deal. Wages have to be paid on Thursday.

Marc Jackson consortium has moved to due diligence.

Has he not heard of Viagara? I am not sure what his sexual problems have to do with a takeover apart from airing his problem on here Nick! I hope you havnt jeopardised this deal. ;-) -

No they are not...how can they when it needs millions and they have to prove DD? They are brokering a deal on behalf of someone. Can you show me any proof that they are either a] Jackson is buying it b] going to be on the board c] has made any statement to this effect. Or is your assumption based on what the usual sh1t stirrers on here dredge up time and time again? Can you show any proof that the so called 3 bids are not creditable? Why did Fry discard the Guernsey bid if he is just accepting anyone then? Too much rubbish is being written and believed on here without fact and just based on what some anti-anyone posts to stir it all up. -
Did Green/Jackson contact MLT to join forces?

Great team performance once again....we certainly have some great youngsters coming through. Razza bowled superbly and a great knock from Jimmy Adams saw us home comfortably. The main thing I have noticed this season is how good our fielding and catching is compared to other seasons - we must of worked very hard on this.

So what happens in season 2 or 3 when th little bit of money Salz and co had runs out? I still cannot understand why they don't join up with the other consortium and be twice as strong. -

I am sure one of the more informed posters will be along in a minute but wasn't that ID used by one of the Tricon lot? St. D or even LLS himself? -
A) Wife has family at Hedge End and still has local ties. She used to work for British Gas Southampton. He may want to build a club his way rather than somewhere like Newcastle that will creat extra pressure. B) Good managers pay for themselves - ask Blackburn and Big Sam how much he has saved them since going there. Billy Davies at Forest....2 managers many on here said they wouldnt want here as no good!!! C) He undoubtedly has contacts in the game and would attract players to come and play for him. Again I state I dont want him here going by the games I have seen him manage.

Well they were abysmal, no support play, couldn't put a pass within 5 yards of their own players, no passion or commitment. Villa were light years ahead. Ok he has inherited a squad full of prima donnas but what about pattern to play and changing when its not working. If you looked at Martins and Viduka they didnt have anyone within 20 yards when they won the ball. He bought on Owen to play up front but why didnt he then tell Duff to stay wide and create space? Every time newcastle got forward there was no width and Villa just had to crowd out the middle. Shearer to Saints...no thanks.

Which again makes me wonder why they havnt joined up with another consortium who it sounds like would be greatly enhanced by their skill. Like Nick I am just baffled why its taking them so long when they were in far better position than anyone else given Crouchs knowledge. -

So if Salz and co dont have the money to buy now ...why not join in with Pinnacle and be twice as strong? Unless Morph is spinning everyone a line on here and there is no money at all in either consortium and just spinning everyone along? -
Why not have both?

Did the "Lowe Boycott" Damage the Chances..
Give it to Ron replied to Guided Missile's topic in The Saints
So what you are saying is that the odd number of fans that stayed away because of Lowe was far greater than those that went? Because for me the 15k or so that kept going far more deserve a decent club than the few who stayed away. But I thought it only numbered a couple of hundred according the Lowe supporters on here? So why do a few deserve the club to go to the wall? -

Of course what GM also chooses to ignore is the fact that once Lowe went and we knew we were in desperate ****e the gates went up - ok cheaper prices helped but if you were an investor you couldnt ignore the passion, support and feeling at those last few home games but you could if you wanted to ignore the real reasons why admin was happening and not just blaming the fans. -
Morph Why doesn't Salz join up with the other bidders like Pinnacle? Too many cooks?

So where does that leave the 15k or so that did attend will they get the club they deserve? I love the constant threads that appear on here that attack the fans who didn't go yet disregard all those that did regardless of whether they supported Lowe or not! Why didn't Rupert ask gavyn for a loan as he is presumably the same class....as that seems important to some. -
Prediction based on further information? Do we have enough time for them to complete the buyout?
-
Really .....personally I thought it rather childish but going by your posts on the main board lately can see why you think otherwise. Funnily enough Ian Botham...you may have heard of him perhaps has also suggested it was a stupid decision to play there today with all their drainage issues....still that may be too highbrow a conversation for you.

Suing/Claiming negligence against the NHS
Give it to Ron replied to saint_stevo's topic in The Lounge
Yep thats what started with me....4 arthroscopies later finally just having bone on bone for the last 8 years have just had a uni-compartmental knee replacement! -
Sorry I dont think there is that big a drop between the CCC and Div 1 in terms of revenue from TV money, we also have an extra cup competition to bring in more gate money! Shop revenue I can't see being much different and in fact if we have a new away kit will bring in more money than last year when I believe we didnt change kit? Do we not also have the ST money to come in to offset the lower wage bills etc perhaps I am being naive but I am clinging to the fact that a new board/manager with no baggage just may see more people renew than were going to by the end of the season if Lowe/Wilde were still here. A successful campaign will see bigger gates....we just need that initial investment and the correct choice of manager now the rest will follow.
-
Or the fact that the South's weather is far better in the early part of the summer than the North but then again that was far too obvious for you perhaps are you part of the ECB?
-
But most of the millions going out Nick were the wage bill, payments to sacked managers, gardening leave and compensation. Once we have the final cull and an income from ST's we should be in a far better place financially.
