But the point is the tempo has dropped and reverting to slow tempo across the back I won’t upset you and call it Russball means the space is lessened because the opposition gets back and fills the space. When we were moving it faster WBA, Leicester we were creating our own space and chances . We should have enough quality to create that space against the poorer teams we played recently and again I would argue it’s our tempo that allows opponents to nullify us. I went to away game with Brum fans who were at SMS and in pub after game they couldn’t believe the difference in the 2 games how our tempo had changed. Neither Norwich or Oxford were reactive though so that isn’t correct at all. Of course Fellows injury and Leo being cotton wooled through Christmas meant we were not as dynamic but things have changed and it’s not for the better and I’m not sure Tonda has the know how to correct it clique or not

Sorry I disagree if you don’t think our tactics v Birmingham h. , Leicester, WBA were different than Birmingham away Norwich, Millwall, Oxford you are watching different games. In the winning period we got the ball forward far quicker there was very little slow passing it was done at pace and risk now there is nothing.

He now gets plaudits for making any save - I saw people praising him on Saturday for the ones he did make all were regulation a keeper would be expected to save. Thats how far our standards are in goal have fallen. I have no faith in him - I see some are missing the point on Long - we didn’t need a 3rd keeper we needed a number 1 to replace Ramsdale not poor backups McCarthy should be 3rd choice.

Of all those on the bench who would have been a threat from corners and set pieces? Aribo? Robinson or Fraser? Remember it was Wood who equalised and maybe not on the pitch if you had your way as Quarshie covers Manning. I don’t agree 3 in a line maybe from goal kicks but THB was playing as inverted wing back. Of the subs Aribo has been poor, Robinson is young and not impacting much recently and Fraser wasn’t needed wide. I think we will have to disagree on our tactics this week as without a Stewart or Downs height we didn’t have many options up front. Archer was already on for a while as well as Arma. Need an option in January
