If ever in Romsey there are now some decent real ale pubs and good for a crawl. Nightingale landlady sour face but keeps good pint, Old House but expensive, Phoenix Bath Ale is ok, Tudor, Cocky anchor bit crowded, Star, best of lot though is 3 Tuns. There have been some awful games like at Dell 0-3 Bolton a game under Whisky George where we had 5 players playing on wrong side to natural foot lost to Huddersfield. It’s all my fault I found Claude’s football boring but this turgid “U” style football gets me so angry and frustrated. It’s not walking football I play that and our over 70’s academy pass it quicker!

I didn’t think he was as bad as some have posted either. A player not trusted by the manager to come on in previous games all of a sudden is put in midfield on his own. Aribo and Fernandes spent most of the game wide leaving just Big Les in middle against 2 or 3 Stoke players and he got swamped. He won several good headers, his passing could be better but his job is to just pass back and sideways so no wonder we looked vulnerable when he lost it giving free run at us.
