I do not believe I was arguing, I don't really care to be honest. Managers and players come and go, Majority of Southampton supporters would have expected this to happen at the end of next season its just come a season earlier. If clubs do not want our manager and players then we are doing something wrong And I would also suggest most Saints fans don't care about Everton's "ambition". Enjoy the new manager but how about you just enjoy it with like minded Everton fans?

Glad you don't want VVD......... Not another one to the Everton massive....... Honestly mate just do one - as has been said before you are the only clubs fans that has come on here giving it some. Small time, Chip on your shoulder, Bin dipping, We are a massive club ******s
-
Here we go...... Onwards and upwards

This 100% In all honesty I just want him gone. Its annoying me the delay, makes me feel while Les is dealing with this he is not dealing with our new manager. I honestly could could not care about Koeman - But I do care that he gets out the bloody door ASAP
-
Another golden quote: A benefit of getting Koeman will be the reaction of the Southampton fans, a lot of whom seem to think finishing 7th makes them comparable to us. Southampton lol Hopefully it would send them in to a spiral, back to the lower leagues where they belong They will inevitably end up back there at some point, like the rest of these yo-yo outfits. Caveat - Knowing Everton, it could all still go wrong  Are we really a Yo-Yo club?
-
Just been told they are a sleeping giant buy one delusional bin dipper. In all honesty they are just another Aston Villa, had there day in the sun a long time ago. Villa may be even a bigger club then them, they are the biggest club in there city at least
-
Some of there quotes on Everton forum: "All the Southampton fans are having a meltdown and many of our fans aren't that impressed, it just shows you, it's all about levels, they're a nothing club" "So they should be...they are still Southampton...small town near Portsmouth" "On the plus side, if it is Koeman maybe he will poach Tadic, Mane, Van Dijk and Forster" "Still Southampton though. Typically a yoyo club." I have never read so much arrogant & deluded tripe on any other fans forum - even Pompey online. Since when where Everton a football powerhouse?
-
21 years ago you won your last trophy........................... Bit of a drought as well I would say. And yeah there was a Premier League pre 2012, from 1992 - 2007 Southampton where a premier league club.
-
Its Tadic and Forster

Every time I have watched U21's Hesketh is the best player on the pitch. I feel he is the only one ready for first team football
-
Agreed but reading a few posts on this thread a few Saints fans are quick to knock Kelvin. I think it's easy to forget the importance of Kelv in the side and in the dressing room over the years. Not our greatest player but an important player In a great period for the club.

Just been reading his book and at the back there is a section for people to put a few tributes. Adam Blackmore (radio solent) has put "the decision by the club to not extend his contract is one that can be debated, but rather than take that and react badly to it, he has shown his maturity by discussing the possibility of other roles within in the club" I would be very happy if we can keep kelvin here to be honest

Just been stretched off. Does not look good -
They are tragic, just **** off back to the football league

We will finish between 9-7th place Aston Villa, Norwich,Newcastle Done a solid job, was quite surprised Around the same as us 9th - 7th Dimitri Payet I think the West Ham way ship has long since sailed - No youth players have come though of note in the last few years Van Dijk Mane is due a few goals Yes it does bother me, the whole process has been very shady I think the season has been okay, going out of euro league early shook the club up a bit in terms of what is the plan for this season 5-3-2 2-1
-
Because that's the answer? We paid good wages to Osvaldo and Ramirez turned out to be absolute liability's. You cant just chuck money at players, unless you are going to spend 20m+ on established international players (which we cant do) there is always a risk of them not working out
-
Over the last 5 seasons part from the "big six" we have spent the most on player recruitment. Don't know if we can do more then that without being reckless
-
I actually disagree with Ron here, I believe the club & board have backed up player sales and invested heavily in the squad granted some of those players are not the finished article but we cannot afford that hence when we sell a player that has plenty of experience in the premier league they go for 20m and more. The majority of money brought in has been reinvested apart from a few duds (Martina, Gardos) that money has been well spent on players that when the time comes will be sold once again for 20m+. It's the circle of top flight football. This maybe for me Ron pre empting a reason for not signing a new deal. So for me Rons comments are very wide of the mark.......

1 Strachan 2 koeman 3 Adkins 4 ball 5 merrington 6 hoddle 7 pochettino
-
Pardew....was not employed by us when he went to Newcastle but the last team he managed was in league 1
-
Reed pressures the ball way to hard and gets sucked in because of it. Ryan looks a bit under done which is to be expected. Segar does look rather handy me would think more first team minutes are around the corner.
