This ref is dodgy. Blowing up for any little thing for Chelsea. We're playing really well, great possession football that even against ten men last week we couldn't manage. Chelsea will score against the run of play in a bit because that's our season unfortunately.

As everything was pretty much in place for an end of the season contract, with option to extend if all goes well maybe Marsch had a lack of faith in his ability to keep us up. If went went longer term and it didn't work out then we'd have to pay him off which we have spent a fortune on Jones so I can understand the reflectance to do that. Disappointing as I was warming to the idea and he was the best manager we could realistically have given us a small chance to get out. Not sure about Selles as he is part of the problem before so not sure how he will now be the solution. We look very Micky Mouse at the mo.

Marsch has a philosophy and a way of playing which he has stood by for years. Seems to me the trio of ex players are still finding their way. No brainer.

If he was to be sacked it would have meant we beat them, if Jones was still here he'd be going nowhere with that under his belt, for a few weeks at least. If Selles won it then he'd want a shot. Either way, why would a Chelsea manager come to bottom of the table Saints?

Odds have just shortened massively for Marsch. Now at 1/4. Seems like people with knowledge are lumping on.

There will never be a better chance for Jones to redeem himself and show us "his way". Yes we played well and then we scored and Lemons was sent off but then he went and managed to snatch a loss out of the jaws of victory. Nothing can redeem him from this. His way couldn't beat a ten man relegation struggler at home. Out possessed and out passed, by 10 men. Enough is enough.

With Leeds 2 up away at United and looking like getting 3 points they are another team pulling away. A win at the weekend is now a must.

My fear is that he's being given the Wolves game to turn it around, we'll win and he'll be given more time. We'll then lose another 5 matches on the bounce and be on for certain relegation. Got to go now and let Selles manage the team on Saturday.

Decent window, needed that striker with an excellent record and we got him, albeit in a weaker league. If Jones picks our strongest players in their strongest position we'll climb out of relegation. Let's see how he does from now on. I think we'll scrape 17th on about 37 points. Imagine being an Everton fan right now.

Haven't we brought in Mara, Aribo and Endozie? That's 3 forward players. Unless you're talking about an out and out striker but even Gakpo isn't one of them. Would be nice to see a proper striker come in.

A good move for him, I never thought he was premier League material so I expect he'll be signed permanently by Bournemouth at the end of the season when they are in the Championship.

He was immense tonight. Love watching him play, so commanding. I think salisu was easily his equal tonight, the first 20 mins or so he kept Chelsea at bay. The two of them are formidable and I think will win us more points than the forward line this year if they stay fit.

Not to feel pessimistic but is this a leak from the club to show we have been making bids when we don't not sign anyone.

Armstrong is one of the first names on the teamsheet for me, makes the team tick.
